Hello,
Thank you all for reading Something New. I really enjoyed writing it, but I sat on the last three chapters for quite some time, not sure if it was good enough. So, I came back to it once I determined it was...in a way. Perhaps I'll come back to rewrite the last two, but leave the epilogue.
A third book is in the works and will likely be another short story.
I thank God for helping me to write this story; there were five or six different versions of it and I was honestly very close to not releasing this version and going a safer route (with matters of abuse and her miscarriages). I can't say I did these subject matters justice in writing it in a short story format such as this, but I hope the story was enjoyed regardless.
My prayer for my readers is for you to wait on the Lord in every area of your life, whether in love or His blessings in other areas. What He gives will forever be better than what you can ever give yourself.
Just as well, please do not idolize these stories or any of these characters-humans are fallen and every relationship requires grace and patience to be extended. But when you stand on the Lord together, as your firm foundation, He will guide you and bless you in your relationship.
Thank you once more for reading and until next time, take care.
Sincerely,
Sarah"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God."
John 3:16-21 ESV
