Of all the weddings I've seen, ours is the most beautiful one.
Today is December 10th, days passed by in a flash since we both agreed to get married.
A few hours back, I married the love of my life.
Our wedding was a special and a very simple one, which is how both of our personalities have been.
Our wedding happened on a warm day in December.
While my wife is asleep, warm and cozy in the bed, I laid on the couch and replayed what happened today over and over again.
If I could, I would live this day forever.
We exchanged our vows under the cherry blossom tree.
We had an open wedding, with very few guests as I asked to keep our marriage discrete to avoid any enemy tabs.
Only few of the jonins, Hokage sama, the higher ups & few elite clan leaders were invited.
Everything was warm, intimate & extremely pleasant.
Of everything I laid my eyes on today, you were the most beautiful sight, Haruka.
And to be able to call you my wife from today made my heart swell with happiness.
On the outside I remained calm & composed but inside, I could feel my heart leap in joy & pride as I was able to fulfill my love.
Not many shinobis will be able to marry their love, in fact many preferred to not get married in the first place. To be able to marry someone, that too, to the love of my life made me feel proud of myself. Although it seems nonsensical, I couldn't contain this feeling.
You were my home, and from today I will be sharing my home, with you.
This feeling made me beam with joy. Throughout the ceremony & after we exchanged our vows, a smile was on my face as if it had been plastered there.
I could see the surprised looks the guests gave from time and again.
I don't think anyone has seen me this happy. I was always referred to as The Cold blooded Ninja, Kakashi of the Sharingan, The friend killer Kakashi, Copy Ninja Kakashi and what not. But today, all of these given names seem to have made no sense.
My whole world froze at the moment I saw you walking down the aisle holding Hokage Sama's hand.
The further you walked towards me, the more I felt relaxed.
Whenever I saw you I couldn't take my eyes off of you. But today, all of my known definition of beauty has changed.
If someone asks me to define the word beautiful, I'd simply show them a picture of you from today.
To watch you in this form, walking towards me, as a bride, as my bride, willing to accept me and share your life with me.. Today is the happiest day of my life.
If it was not for these guests staring at us, and if it was only the two of us, I'd have certainly shed some tears of joy.
