I was slightly disappointed to have missed celebrating this New Year as well with Kakashi. But Kurenai made every effort to make it a special one.
She booked a special premium reservation for us, for the whole 2 nights, Dec 31st & Jan 1st. The food she made our reservation for had 14 different cuisines. There will be live music playing only for us, inhouse onsens, mini theatre, casinos, unlimited sake, mini water rides and separate cabin for DJ and Karaoke. All for us.
It sounded like a luxurious booking
We were all dressed our best to have a great time. For some time I forgot that Kakashi hasn't come yet
"I cannot wait to be on the cruise!" Kurenai exclaimed while holding my arm
"I cannot wait to explore the casinos" Ebisu remarked
"I will try the unlimited sake first" Asuma commented and Kurenai face palmed
"I will hit the water rides and let my youth explode!" Gai said loudly
"Man, you must be a kid for that" Raido commented
"What will you two explore?" Gai asked Genma and Aoba
"I'll explore every cuisine of food on the cruise" Aoba stated
"I'll explore the inhouse onsens" Genma said
"Oh we very well know why you'll explore that first!" Asuma joked
"Oh yeah we do!" Kurenai joked and started laughing
"Do you think it'll be having mixed baths?" Ebisu asked
"Ah there we go! One more guy added to the perv gang!" Kurenai face palmed again
"Uh no.. I am just making sure to not go in unannounced and get into uncomfortable situation" Ebisu stated. He was now red as a tomato
"It will be mixed baths!" Genma winked and smirked at Ebisu
"What! Seriously!" Ebisu asked with bright eyes and a huge smile
"Man! You really are a closet perv aren't you Ebisu" Asuma commented and everyone started laughing
We walked further towards the gates continuing the silly banter when I saw a familiar silhouette coming closer
I looked straight towards that direction hoping it is who I was thinking
And then, there he was... striding with all his might and basking under the golden hues of sunset
Even under the thousand colors that the sky displayed, he still stood out
