Kakashi started talking more about his team now.
I could envision everything he was saying. It almost feels like I was there at that moment. Getting to know these kids was an absolute delight. Their stories brightened up my day.
Somedays I visited them on the training grounds. Kakashi was extremely strict & ruthless when it came to training his students. He wants the kids to grow into exemplary shinobi, so he didn't hesitate in their training.
But again, he cared extremely for his team. I saw him show his soft side to them, which he has shown only to me so far.
The team grew closer with their sensei. Their team dynamics seemed to be getting better too.
When I visited them, some evenings Naruto asked continuously to come along with me to my home.
When I said I was visiting Kakashi's home for dinner or lunch, he jumped on Kakashi's back and tagged along.
Kakashi had to take him back & drop him in his house stating that they would be going on tough missions in the future & he needs to prepare for it, if he wants to beat Sasuke
But I felt bad that I had to deny Naruto everytime whenever he asked if he could come to my home. So I decided to host a lunch for the team, at my house
'I will ask him about it today' I thought to myself
"Yo!" Kakashi waved at me while entering our home
"Kakashi... Welcome home!" I waved back & smiled
"What were you doing?" he came into the kitchen and curiously looked at the different set of bowls
"Well, I was just preparing some dessert for after dinner" I showed him what I made
"Hmm dessert, you never made one before.. what's the occasion?" he smiled & asked
"Nothing as such. I just thought I'll prepare some for you to maybe cheer you up, you know after your long day with kids" I teased him and chuckled slightly
