Living together, but are we really together?

It's been 10 days since we got married. Kakashi has been an extremely caring husband. He was a great friend. But he is an even better husband.

I walked into the living room and sat on the couch. I took a photo frame from the coffee table into my hand. It was from our wedding day. Kakashi had got it framed. He looked very happy and ravishingly handsome in this one

Although he had his mask on, one could clearly see him smile

Although he had his mask on, one could clearly see him smile. His smile.. it looks so pure

He made sure I was comfortable at his place. He was very gentle with me. All in all, he stayed the same way as how he was when we were friends

But he remained distant

He gave me his room and his bed. He stationed himself to sleep on the couch. Or sometimes on the mattress that he laid on the floor. I felt bad for stealing away his comfort. But he reassured saying he can sleep comfortably at any place in the house.

He never came into the bedroom while I was in. I started waking up early so that he can use the bedroom. He did his laundry by himself while I did mine.

We spent a lot of time together in the living area, in the kitchen or in the balcony.

However, I liked this very much. To see him everyday & talk late, till one of us were feeling sleepy, they seemed very warm & cozy.

He insisted on making breakfast every morning. I made the rest of the meals. When we finished our dinner, Kakashi washed the dishes everyday.

He occasionally came home for lunch. When he didn't, he came home early in the evening and spoke a lot during our dinner about all the stuff his genins did.

Last week Kakashi was made incharge of a team of young shinobi who just graduated from academy.

We fell comfortable with the pace of life. I liked this place, more so because I am able to share it with him.

Life was good

Atleast that's what I thought

Kakashi, started coming home very exhausted from all the events that took place in his team

I decided to be extra nice to him to let him feel relaxed at home.

I started preparing dinner before he came home, and when he was home, we watched mostly his favorite movies.

Some nights we just kept watching two or three movies, like last night.

He made me watch Deadpool 1 & 2 last night. When I got bored at the rather not so funny jokes and started getting up, he took my hand and said it'll get good in time. He pointed towards the funny faces the hero was making through the mask and laughed.
