The thought of an invisible, dirty thing lurking in the shadows of his room, watching him, made Ning's skin crawl!

He left the room calmly and went to the corridor.

But a scene that made his hair stand on end appeared...

The red light emitted from the blood jade in his palm not only didn't extinguish... but grew even brighter!

  "Damn it!"

Ning couldn't help but curse under his breath.

He waved the blood jade around, his inner unease intensifying!

Because he soon discovered that as long as he was in the reception, the jade would emit light!

Could it be... the entire reception was unclean?

He pondered for a moment, immediately found Bai and Liu, called them to his room, and closed the door.

Then, Ning took out the blood jade and placed it in front of them.

"Hey, isn't this the one from the last dungeon... Woah! Why is it glowing?!"

Liu's face showed surprise first, then turned into terror.

He remembered the female ghost from the last blood gate, looking around every corner of the room.

But he didn't see anything scary.

  "Don't look,"

Ning shook his head, his face turning serious.

"As long as I'm in the reception, this blood jade will emit light."

He then explained to Bai, who was beside him, the origin and effect of the blood jade.

  Bai listened, her brows furrowed.

  She spoke softly:

  "This reception is definitely problematic."

After finishing, Bai looked around Ning's room, her gaze fixed on the wooden bed.

The wooden bed had been carefully cleaned, quite clean, even the corners at the head of the bed hadn't been missed, but...

Bai extended her long finger, gently brushing across the ground under the bed, and then her finger was covered with a thick layer of dust, and a little... hair.

  "See?"

The two of them nodded, Ning thought thoughtfully, while Liu was clueless.

"Isn't this just that it hasn't been cleaned underneath?"

  "It's normal..."

  Ning said:

"It's not the problem, it's the dust... it's too thick."

"It's as if... a house that hasn't been used for a long time, is suddenly cleaned specially for us ."

  Liu was stunned.

  "That's right."

Bai looked at Ning's eyes with a hint of appreciation.

She had brought many new people.

Very few were as thoughtful and sharp as Ning.

In fact, most newcomers were not even as good as Liu, encountering a situation they would only know how to scream and cry for help.
