Today is a whole new day. Yesterday we snapped on someone who didn't deserve it. Didn't deserve it?? Stop kidding yourselves. You stop! She's not this person. Yes she is. Under all the goofiness and happiness I is a crazy person waiting to come out into the world. No! We keep you locked up because the world isn't ready for what you can do. Hell the world better be ready, I'm one bad a**. Please you cry anytime someone died in cartoon movies. Hey that's a secret between the 10 of us!!!!

The voices in my head were arguing about yesterday. I felt bad for yelling at Andre but he deserved all of it. I told Imma what happened. She was happy because she know their craziness was rubbing off on me. But also sad that she missed it. I have block scheduling. I get stuck in a class for two hours a day with this jerk! Today was odd day and here I sit in Marine Biology. He walks in and sits down. He turns as if he wants to say something to me but the bell rings and cuts him off.

  "Good morning class. Today I will be assigning projects. Your partners are the person you share a desk with. Two weeks from today the project is due. I want a power point presentation for you to show the class and a written report on the topic. You will choose a Marine animal and do a project about it. Your grades will be based on creativity and accuracy of the topic.  The grade is worth 10 grades and I expect both of the partners to do the work. The rest of class I will walk around seeing the topics you choose and you can work with your partners." Mrs. Walker says before sitting behind her desk. The other groups start talking while I wonder the different ways I can kill someone with the gummy bears in my pack back.

"Sophia, what would you like to do a project on?" he gets my full attention. He wasn't being a jerk and actually wanted my opinion.

"Are you actually asking or just wanted to shoot down my ideas?" I try to see if he will lie.

He nervously taps his pen on the desk. "I deserved everything you said to me. I was wrong for how I treated you. I was worried about Jamal kicking my a**. I should have been scared of you. You're a little fire cracker. I honestly am sorry. We have to work together and I don't expect us to be friends or anything. Just civil for this project. What would you like the topic to be?"

I stare at him hoping to catch a glimpse of him lying but he actually means what he says. "Sea turtles?"

"Sea turtles it is. It would probably be best to get the written information out of the way now and worry about the power point later. Maybe we can meet up at the library after school?"

"Actually I have to baby sit." Remembering that I have to watch Jaden after school."

"Alright. Maybe I can come over your house after school."

"mmm sure ill just write down my address and you can come over." The rest of the period we spend talking about the project and things we should know. Then the lunch bell rings. I happily go to find Tonii, Imma and Spenser.

Tonii ordered us subs from subway. We all sit around eating and just catching up.

"So Spenser, tell us about Austin." He starts choking on his food at Tonii's words.

"Who the f*ck is Austin??"

"Who the flapjack is Austin?"

Both Imma and I ask at the same time.

Austin Martin. 5'9. Freshman in college studying Biology. Black hair. Green eyes. White. Has a little brother. Both of his parents are Nurses. But his mom owns a bakery ." Tonii throws out details about this Austin person.

"Leave it to Detective Gadget over there to know about Austin." Tonii smiles at Spenser's compliment. "Austin is someone I met at my job at the bookstore. He's really cool. We have been on a few dates and I think I like him. I was going to tell you guys about it after I saw how things went. But Tonii just ruined that!" Spenser glares at Tonii while she gives him air kisses.
