After getting the frosted flakes off my floor, I grab my bed sheets and throw them in the washer down the hall. Walking past Jamal's room I can see him jumping around patting his head. I stand in his door way and watch while trying not to laugh.

"Jamal what are you doing?" I ask him biting back my laugh.

I scan his room looking at his walls. He recently repainted three walls a dark red and one wall gray. His queen size bed is pushed towards the wall away from the bed. There is a bag of Reese peanut butter cups on his desk next to his back pack. I make a mental note to steal some when he isn't looking. He has some posters of professional athletes on his wall. I spot the Dwayne Wade poster that has to be 7 years old. He got it when we went to a Miami Heat game with our dad a long time ago. I look towards his book case and spot a few books that look new. Jamal might seem like the typical high school athlete, but to those that really know him, he is a complex person. He loves reading fictional books about were wolves and witches. And not those 'I must be half naked and rubbed down with oil every second of the day' werewolves. He likes the man eating, killing entire villages before dawn werewolves. He also loves art. He is amazing when it comes to drawing. When he really likes his drawings he will frame them and hang them on the 'Jamal is the S*it' wall. He named it himself.

He continues jumping around for a few seconds before stopping and turning to face me. "I am trying to get the jelly YOU put in my ear." He says while trying to give me a death stare.

"Jamal y'all knew better than to wake a black woman up by pouring ice cold milk and cereal on her." I respond. If they didn't know better now they do.

"Hey those were not just any cereal! They were FROSTED freaking Flakes!" He says as searches for something to aid him in removing the jelly from his ear.

"I HATE FROSTED FLAKES!! That was so disrespectful. You could have used cinnamon toast crunch." I say as I watch him pick up a pencil.

"You better not stick that in your ear!!! Just let warm water run in your ear." I yell before taking the pencil from his hand.

"Oh I never thought of that. Thanks Sophy! I wont plan my revenge until the end of the day." He says before heading in his bathroom that he shares with Jeremiah.

I giggle to myself as I leave his room and head to my room. I enter my room and head towards my closet to pick out my first day of school outfit. Scanning my closet, I'm just waiting for an idea to jump out at me. Then it hits me. "Dark gray skinny jeans? Check. Off the shoulder yellow shirt with the gray Batman Logo? Check. Gray Nikes with yellow laces? Check! Well that was easy. Yes it was. Oh sugar titts! I'm talking to myself out loud again. Well at least no one can hear me this time."

"Think again Jelly Bean!" Jeremiah screams from out side my room.

"Aye!! Stop eves dropping on my private conversations! In certain countries you would be arrested for listening to me talk to myself without me knowing!" I yell back. Jeremiah doesn't respond he just laughs his deep laugh and goes about his business.

I head towards my dresser to make sure I have both sets of earrings, my Pandora bracelet. My favorite locket isn't there so I scan my room. My walls are a soft purple. With White writing on them. Anytime I see a quote I like I put it in my walls so when I'm having a bad day I can look at my walls and feel better or just laugh. My room is pretty simple. Just a wood desk where I do school work or work up evil plots on my brothers. A flat screen TV on my wall. A book case filled with books and CDs.

But my favorite area od my room is my movie corner. I have a little case filled with DVDs and a Green bean bag chair. What's so special about this corner in my room you might ask. Well underneath my bean bag chair is an area of my wood floor that can be removed. I hide my candy stash in this secret place. I have gummy bears, white chocolate Kit Kats, and Hersey Cookies N' Cream bars there. Why would I need a secret place to hide sweets? Four reasons: Jamal, Jeremiah, Jaden, and uncle Mike. Last time they knew I kept candy I walked in my room to find them stuffing their faces with my candy. They pretended to be sleep walking and not know what was happening. I learned my lesson that time.
