A Ballad of Falling Light - XxFaylinexX
•: Title - 5/5
Very intriguing title, I'll give you that. I'm not sure of how much it actually adheres to the content in your story, but as per the findings in the blurb, it fits. So, good job!•: Blurb - 4/5
Blurb was well-structured and executed mindfully. There was a lack of 'period' in those single lined phrases. But that was the only thing that reduced the mark here. It has good language and was pretty good.•: First Impression - 9/10
A very good first impression. The grammar was spot-on and there was a graphic description of what was happening. A solid base and a good bar that was set!•: Grammar - 9/10
Need I say anything about this? Well, no. It was perfect. I've reduced the one mark for all those long paragraphs scattered here and there. While it isn't necessarily something bad, I find it a little off. If you get what I mean.•: Plot - 8.5/10
There were a few areas where the plot did become predictable, the writing pointed at a particular outcome I could anticipate. But overall, it was a real good execution and it is quite self-explanatory when I say that most of the events were perfectly timed. I particularly liked the introduction of Ashe and the interactions between Vanora and Mako.•: Characters - 8.5/10
The characters were well rounded. They had their ups and downs, they had their flaws and qualities. I must point out, an amazing selection of names for characters! I loved, loved the unique names but in a few places they got too foreign - it's probably because I read the story too fast for my own good. But I absolutely loved the execution.•: Dialogue Delivery - 9/10
Perfect. Nothing more to say.•: Flow - 3.5/5
It seemed a little slow in a few chapters, though I can't pinpoint it. It just felt so. Taken as a whole, the row of events were executed in a timely manner, with just enough pauses.•: Final Impressions - 5/5
If time does permit, I'd finish reading the entire thing.Total - 61.5/70
