•: Title - 4.5/5 I really liked the impression it gives off. I don't know how to explain my intuitions in words, but the title is unique and does stay in my mind.
•: Blurb - 3.5/5 The blurb was promising and it did convey exactly what a reader needs to get them hooked. But you've included about 4-5 questions in it. I feel like the number of rhetorically questions could've been reduced, into just 2. That makes the impact much better, and focuses reader attention on the main 2 problems that you're about to address in the book.
•: First Impression - 9/10 I loved it! Your first chapter and overall impression makes it a really good book. You had ample descriptions, and they were just enough to induce a feeling of mystery. Your hold on the English language is epic and your way of conveying the story is also great.
•: Grammar - 9/10 Impeccable grammar. Your writing is professional and grammatically error-free almost. Good job!
•: Plot - 8.5/10 I'd definitely rate this a solid 9. In case it wasn't clear from my comments, I am actually loving your book. It isn't always that I find such good books that don't have overused tropes or cliché scenes. They were all unique, albeit a little common (like the guy painting with victims blood and James having the tattoo - kind of expected), but never melded together into one. Good job!
•: Characters - 8/10 There isn't much to say here. Victoria and Dominic had pretty decent and developed backstories and their course of actions were justified as well. Victoria's friends also recieved a good introduction. I have read just the first ten, so there weren't any significant changes in the character arcs, so far. That's why the -2. That's something on my side. Otherwise, things were great
•: Dialogue Delivery - 8/10 They all felt pretty natural and your execution was great. I really have no clue as to why you're not way higher in popularity for this book.
•: Flow - 3.5/5 I felt like it was taken at the right pace. But there were a few places where I felt the story line speeding down. But that's fine.
•: Final Impressions - 4/5 If I do get the time, I'll read till the end. And that's saying something!
Total - 58/70
