Trust us! You’ll feel like a whole new person,” saachi promised, and we continued our mission, stopping for lunch to refuel our energy.
Over greasy fries and milkshakes, we plotted out the rest of the day.

“Next up is the English wedding ceremony outfit,” Samaira said, licking the salt off her fingers.
As maaya went to get food from counter Sam and saachi were discussing which would be the best shop to buy the wedding dress without giving away the main surprise.
As maaya returned back to the table with their burgers she heard the shop name as the girls were discussing.

Why are we going to this exact shop and plus that shop is mostly exclusive for wedding dresses, asked maaya.

“It’s a surprise, remember?” said Sam.

“Surprise or torture?” Maaya muttered, but I could tell she was rolling with it.

After lunch, we hit a boutique that specialized in more formal attire.

“This is it! You’re going to look stunning in a classic dress,” Samaira declared, dragging Maaya inside.

The first dress we picked was a stunning off-white gown that flowed beautifully as Maaya twirled. “I feel like I’m about to get married,” she said, laughter bubbling in her throat.

“Perfect! You can practice for your future wedding!” saachi teased, causing her to chuckle.

“Yeah, because that’s definitely not  happening anytime soon,” Maaya replied, her laughter infectious.  Remember I am already married 😂

“Let’s just hope I don’t trip over my own feet when I wear this.”
Just don’t take a long drink before you walk down the aisle,” I quipped, and we burst into giggles.
Haha very funny I'm not walking down any aisle mad woman and I'm not taking this one.

As the afternoon wore on, we tried on more dresses and experimented with accessories. “This will be the best anniversary surprise ever!” Samaira beamed as we admired Maaya in yet another outfit.

“Okay, I’m officially exhausted,” Maaya declared, flopping down onto a nearby bench. “How many more dresses do we need?”

“Just a few more casual ones and the main dress from here,” sam said, glancing at my watch. “We have to hurry! .
We haven't found the perfect dress yet for the major event.
Maaya groaned but then brightened. “Alright, let’s do this!”
We dashed through a few more rows and finally found a perfect romantic dress.

Then we dashed through the last few stores, grabbing casual dresses that ranged from floral prints to breezy maxis.

By the time we were done, Maaya was practically collapsing under the weight of her shopping bags.

“I can’t believe I survived this,” she panted, grinning despite herself.

“See? Wasn’t that fun?” Sam nudged her playfully as we made our way back to the car.

“Fun? More like a marathon!” Maaya laughed, her eyes sparkling with the thrill of the day.

“But I admit, I kind of enjoyed it.”
“Only kind of?” Samaira teased, throwing an arm around her shoulders.

“You’ll love it once you see Aarav’s face when he sees you wearing all these dresses for him.”

As we drove back, the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the city. I couldn’t help but feel a swell of happiness.

This chaos, this laughter, it all felt like family.
Thanks for today, you two,” Maaya said, her voice softening as she looked at us. “I really appreciate it.

You’re the best friend I could ask for.”
Right back at you!” they both smiled.

As we neared home, the excitement bubbled up again. “Ready for the big reveal?” Samaira asked, her eyes glinting with mischief.
Yeah I am ,” Maaya replied, her voice determined.
And they entered into their building with truck load of dresses.

Since Saachi and Sam too bought dress along with maaya as she forced them too to get their outfits because she wanted them too look perfect with her in the pictures.
