Maaya pov

I know it will be difficult for both of them at the moment so I decided to go pick her up for college
As I reached her home her mom greeted me and said she wanted to discuss something with me and said we will talk as she was getting dressed.
She asked about me and my family and some general questions.
Then she asked me whether I knew nahar and for that I replied saying I know him very well he is like a big brother to me and he also sees me as his sister.
Hearing this she has a big smile on her face and asked me about him and his character and his habits.
I casually answered her questions and then her last question just shook me to the core.
She asked me what I think about Sam and Nahar's pair and how they would look.
I composed myself and answered they would look lovely and asked her did Sam talked to her yesterday ( as I thought Sam told her about her conversation with nahar).
She said Sam didn't even come to have dinner yesterday and slept once she came home from college.
I just nodded my head and asked her why she was askinge this and for that she told me them and nahar parents were thinking about their proposal and she just wanted to know what I thought as I was Sams bestfriend.
I started jumping in happiness and said if this would happen it would be wonderful and she also added that she wanted me to talk to Sam about this proposal thing before making it official and talking and involving Nahars parents.
I said sure aunty I will talk to her this weekend and I will take her out so that we can talk.
Her mom told the her and uncle are leaving back to their hometown tonight and were waiting mainly to talk to me.
By the time we finished talking Sam came down decked up for college and we bid byes to aunty and left for college.
The whole drive I was just thinking about how to talk to her about this.
Then I told her I wanted to take to out and we both are going out that weekend.
She said okay and was silent throughout the ride.
