panick enclosed Nahar seeing his love faint in front of his eyes.
He froze in that moment and didn't know what to do next.
Just as he was standing his friends rushed over and started to attend Sam.
Aarav knelt beside him, checking her pulse. "She's just fainted. It's okay, she probably just got overwhelmed."
"Overwhelmed?" Nahar's voice pitched higher. "I just proposed! That's a good kind of overwhelmed, right?"
"Let's not panic," Aadvik said, trying to keep calm. "Maaya, get some water!"
Saachi was already shaking Sam gently. "Sam! Wake up!" she urged, her voice full of concern.
Nahar rubbed Sam's arm, his heart thundering in his chest. "Please, Sam. Just wake up. I'll take you to the best ice cream shop in Coorg. I'll even let you pick the flavor."
Still there was no response from Sam and at that moment the ambulance arrived and Sam was taken in and everyone was waiting for nahar to get in but he stood still and was in complete shock and chaos.
Seeing his state Aarav asked the maaya to go in the ambulance with Sam and Aadvik and saachi to follow them .
And he also promised maaya to bring him and put some senses to him.
Maaya nodded as she went in the ambulance and saachi and Aadvik also joined them behind.Just as everyone left Aarav called out Nahar's name a couple of times and even tried to shake him up, but nothing worked.
Nahar came to his senses when Aarav gave him tight slap.
With a panicked state Nahar called out Sam's name frantically.
Then slowly Aarav explained the ambulance situation and they both started driving towards the hospital.
When she came to, the sterile smell of antiseptic filled her nostrils, and the rhythmic beeping of machines surrounded her.
Blinking against the harsh fluorescent lights, Sam tried to piece together what had happened.
Panic rose as she realized she was in an ambulance, the bright red lights flashing outside. "Uh, where am I?" she croaked, her throat dry and scratchy.
"Hey, you're okay," a paramedic assured her, his tone calm and steady. "You fainted. Just keep breathing." Sam's heart raced as she remembered Nahar's proposal. "Nahar! Is he okay?" "Your boyfriend?" The paramedic gave her a reassuring nod.
"He's fine. Just a bit worried about you." Said maaya.
Seeing maaya she was relieved and gave her a hug.
Embarrassment washed over her like a cold wave. How could she face him after that?
The thought of Nahar's stunned expression
haunted her.Meanwhile,
Nahar sat in the passenger seat of Aarav's car, his hands clenched tightly around the seat belt.
His mind replayed the moment Sam collapsed.
He still couldn't believe it. "Aarav, what if something's really wrong?" Nahar looked at his friend, panic evident in his eyes.
"Relax, man. She probably just got overwhelmed," Aarav replied, his voice was steady but with concern.
"We'll be at the hospital soon." Said Aarav
Suddenly, the shrill sound of tires filled the air as a truck crossed into their lane.
Nahar's eyes widened. "Watch out!" he screamed.
The car spun, the world outside a blur of colors as they collided with a tree with a bone-jarring thud.
The darkness swelled around Nahar, and he slipped into unconsciousness.
When Nahar regained consciousness, the world around him was a haze of white.
Blinking against the harsh lights, he tried to sit up but sharp pain shot through his side. A moan escaped his lips.
"Easy there," a nurse said, rushing to his side.
"You've been in an accident. Just relax."
"Accident?" he croaked, his voice barely a whisper.
"Where am I "? The nurse's expression faltered for a moment.
"Let me call your friends." She stepped out of the room, leaving Nahar's heart racing once more.
In a while maaya, saachi and Aadvik walked in the room.Seeing maaya nahar was relieved and happy seeing a known face.
He asked her what happened and how he ended up in a hospital and the most shocking part was he didn't recognise saachi and Aadvik, he pointed to them and asked who they were.
Maaya pov
Hearing Nahar's words took my soul out of me.
He didn't recognise saachi and Aadvik, I was in total shock, but somehow I brought myself to control and asked him does he remember which year we were in and what does he do now.
His answer shook me to core, he was thinking that we were in college and we went out on a road trip and we met an accident.
He didn't remember anything, he doesn't remember anyone.
Immediately we called the doctor and recounted the events and asked about this amnesia thing.
