No tears! Jisoo forbade herself to cry like some kind of idiot from teen dramas. No, well, at the beginning, of course, she gave herself a good cry. She cried into the pillow all night, which still smelled of Jennie's shampoo, but by dawn, having cried her whole soul out, she was ready for a new life. Early in the morning, of course, as an adult, she called work and took sick leave immediately for a week to make sure. Then she packed all Jennie's things into two boxes, first of all throwing the hated shampoo into them, damn it. She wanted to carefully fold the clothes separately, but decided not to give Jennie such an honor and throw everything around without looking. In fact, she sat for five minutes with each T-shirt and sweatshirt in her hands, remembering the moments associated with Jennie wearing these things.
The hardest part wasn't allowing herself to feel guilty and wrong about what had happened. Jisoo tried to feed herself with anger at her girlfriend. More precisely, an ex-girlfriend. Furiously washing the stove in the kitchen, the girl was having a silent conversation with herself: "Jennie decided to leave on her own, so let her go to hell! Enough! She thinks she's someone who doesn't know what she's doing... I really don't even know what she's doing. No, to hell with her! I may not be a saint, I don't have a halo over my head and I've never been a pacifist, but unjustified violence is not in my line. I can't be with a man who can pick a fight out of the blue. So what if I love her... very much, like no one else ever... no! To hell with it! She's a problem. I used to live without her, so I'll live on without all this hassle."
When every corner of the house was sparkling clean, and Jisoo's back ached from overexertion, she realized that cleaning didn't help at all when parting. Jisoo spent the second day of depression watching the saddest movies and eating a lot of ice cream. Her swollen eyes and sore throat made it clear that this way of getting Jennie out of her head was not a good one either. The third day was marked by a meeting with friends whom Jisoo hadn't seen for a long time and shopping. But that didn't help at all. On the fourth day, the girl just lay in bed staring at the ceiling, wishing her brain would shut down.
Desperate, on the fifth day, the girl began to search the Internet for ways out of depression. Jisoo was just moving from an article on how to cast a spell on a divorcee to an article on how to make an ex pay alimony when the doorbell rang. Her heart immediately sank either from excitement or happiness, no matter how hard she tried, Jisoo couldn't get rid of the thought of Jennie returning. After smashing both boxes on the way to the front door, she quickly opened it and froze in place: "Idiot, of course Jennie won't come back, she left you on her own. She hasn't even tried to contact you in so many days, so she doesn't care. Forget about her and pack the fucking boxes properly."
-Hello to you too, and I'm glad to see you.- Noticing that her friend was staring blankly at her, thinking about something of her own, Lisa chuckled and walked inside without hesitation.- Are you moving?- Noticing the boxes in the middle of the living room, she immediately became curious.
-Sorry, hi.- Kim hurried after her friend. - No, it's not a move. I'm not moving anywhere.- Hoping that her voice wouldn't sound too pathetic, the girl said.- Jennie and I broke up, these are her things.
-Wow, this is unexpected.- Lisa even whistled.- Everything seemed to be fine with you.
-Life is full of surprises.- Jisoo chuckled sarcastically, gesturing her friend into the kitchen.
-Are you sure that you broke up, maybe you just misunderstood each other?- It's not that Lisa is in favor of this relationship. She didn't like Jennie at all, but even so, it was impossible not to notice the amorous look with which the brown-haired girl looked at Jisoo.
-No misunderstandings, Jennie is gone, and I'm glad for that. You were right, she and I are completely different, this relationship was doomed from the beginning.- Of course, Lisa didn't limit herself to these vague phrases and demanded details, so Jisoo told her in detail about everything that happened and how she felt at the same time.
