The dinner was held in a calm atmosphere, except for the fact that Jisoo couldn't stop being embarrassed and blushing under Ella's mocking glances. Even Jennie and Mr. Kim behaved quite peacefully, mainly because the man paid all his attention to Rose, entertaining her with detective stories.

It is unlikely that Jisoo and Jennie noticed anything besides each other, too carried away by their feelings, but it was clear to Lisa that something strange was happening. Jennie's parents, with some kind of manic persistence, began to take care of Rose, and at the same time Lisa, continuing to consider them a couple. By the end of lunch, they seemed to have slowed down a little, seeing that the blonde with the usual wide smile easily jokes and supports the conversation. And everything seemed to be the same as before, but Lisa could not get rid of the strange feeling that something was wrong, something in Rose had subtly changed. In the end, the girl tried to get rid of these thoughts, because Rose still continued to ignore her, which means that it wasn't her concern.

In the late afternoon, the snow almost stopped falling, already filling up the yard with rather deep snowdrifts. Ella and Jennie, like children, raced to clean the paths, pelting each other with snow from shovels, while Jisoo, Lisa and Rose jokingly watched them from the terrace.

During their mock scuffles with snowballs, Jisoo accidentally mentioned that Jennie had promised to explain to her how to behave in fights, and who would have thought that Ella would light up with the idea to look at it immediately. Five minutes later, she dragged two pairs of gloves from the basement, like a duelist, throwing them at her sister with the words: "Fight until you bleed."

-Did you see something unfamiliar?- Jennie chuckled, watching Jisoo twirl one of the gloves in her hands, puzzled.

And it's not that the brunette didn't know anything about it at all, but yes. She didn't understand anything. She saw a couple of boxing matches that her father watched on TV and that was it.

-These boxing gloves look somehow defective.- Jisoo finally stated, eliciting laughter from Rose and a dismissive chuckle from Ella.

-These are not boxing gloves.- Jennie explained patiently, smiling.- These are shin guards.

-Everything became clear so quickly.- Jisoo quipped, throwing a glove at the girl.

While Jennie was explaining to her girlfriend and Lisa what kind of gloves they were with open fingers, Ella was meticulously examining the yard, choosing a place for future sparring. Considering that everything was covered with snow, the site had to be prepared.

-While we're shoveling all the snow here, morning will come.- Rose sighed, throwing away the shovel.

-Don't exaggerate.- Ella replied, but she was in no hurry to pick up a shovel, because by rank it is not supposed to work while the patrolmen are cooling off.

-We can just tamp down the snow.- Rose's face lit up with a smile, announcing the appearance of a brilliant idea. The girl fell into the snow, ignoring the uncomprehending stares of the others, and rolled over her right side a couple of times.

-It's a bad idea.- The blonde gasped painfully, frozen, glad that the others hadn't noticed anything.- The plan requires improvements.- She added louder, emerging from the snow.

-Idiot, you might catch a cold.- Lalisa grumbled in displeasure.

-If I hadn't been so busy with a responsible mission, I would have buried you in a snowdrift to teach you manners.- Rose immediately replied, but quickly looked away, not daring to look the girl in the eye.- Sergeant, this city needs a new hero.

-God, why are you so stupid.- Ella sighed, but still went up to the girl and, taking her by the legs, began to spin rapidly, thereby forcing the blonde to slide her back on the snow, crushing it.
