Chapter 40

Loki gave you one of his robes to wear after you went to his bathroom to have a quick pee. You carried your dirty clothes back to your suite, while Loki got changed into his bedclothes. When you got to your room you changed into a pair of pink satin shorts and button up short sleeved shirt. You didn't put on a bra, but a pair of white panties because you didn't want the color to bleed through. You grabbed Kitty and Willow from your living room on your way back out. You brought them to the music room where Loki was already seated in your swing wearing black sweatpants and a white t-shirt. You went over and sat beside him and you set down Kitty on Loki's lap and Willow jumped up on the couch across from you both. You took out your phone and turned on the music, the room's speakers softly filling the air.
"Don't forget your book, love" Loki said gently.
You nodded and took your romance novel from the center of the coffee table. You started reading and you saw Loki magicked a book and he was reading beside you while the music played. You were really starting to get into the book when Loki cleared his throat and you looked at him with questions in your eyes.
"What's wrong?" you asked.
"Would you like to come to Asgard with me?" he asked softly.
"Eventually, but right now we are needed here" you reminded him.
"I just feel you would be safer there, and I'll stay with you" he started pushing it.
"No, if we are going, it's not to run away from AIM or Hydra. It's to meet your parents" you told him.
"Are you willing to agree to marry me yet?" he asked hopefully.
"Loki, we just barely started dating" you giggled.

"It's been over a month," he reminded you.
"Let's start with having some stuff at each other's place" you sighed, and returned to your book.
"May I sleep with you tonight?" he asked.
"Of course" you gave him a broad smile.

"Are you still sore?" he asked impishly.
"I am not up for another round" you giggled. "Not yet" you added softly.
"I'll wear you down" he chuckled. You shook your head and gave a giggle.
"Can I ask a question?" you asked him.
"Of course!" he quickly agreed.

"Why do you wear a horned helmet when we are on missions?" you asked.
"It's a sign of royalty, and the fact that I am a sorcerer on Asgard. Why, my love?" he asked.
"I was curious," you shrugged. "You wear them so proudly."
"Of course, it was a gift from my parents," he nodded.
"Are you close?" you asked him, invested in learning more about him.
"I am with my mother," he shrugged. "She's wonderful, and a healer."
"And your father?" you asked softly.
"He's not as forgiving of my assault on midgard" he admits.
"But that was under mind control" you pointed out quickly.
"It does not matter" he said sadly and you curled into him more.

"But it does," you said with a huff.
"Eventually I will pay my penance. I killed a lot of people, under mind control or not" he kisses you on your temple. "Thank the gods you were not one of them."
"I was in a cell when it happened," you shrugged.
"Small favors" he sighed. "Are you done reading?" he asked.
"No, I'm not tired yet" you shook your head.
"Why don't we go to the bedroom, you can listen to music and we'll snuggle" Loki said softly, nuzzling into you.
"You have a way with words," you giggled. "Okay, lets go" you nodded and stood up. You set your book down and picked up Kitty from Loki's lap. Loki got up quickly and magicked his book away before following you. You went back to your room and the two of you curled into one another on the bed with Kitty laying on your hip and Willow laying at the end of the bed.

When you woke up in the morning, Loki and Willow were both gone with a piece of parchment on the pillow beside you from Loki.
"I've gone to take sweet Willow for her walk, I'll be back with your morning coffee my love" the ink was emerald green. You pulled the blanket more up around you, and snuggled in. You started to fall asleep again when you heard the door opening and a soft hum coming from the living room.
"Good morning my darling" Loki called. You could smell coffee coming from the open door, and it brought a smile to your face. Willow came running in and jumped up on the bed and licked your face making you giggle.
"Good morning, good morning!" you laughed as Willow continued to playfully lick and pull at the blanket.
"Sweetheart," Loki came into the room with two cups of coffee. "How did you sleep?" he asked.
"No nightmares, it was perfect" you grinned. "Thank you," you added softly.

"My pleasure" he handed you a cup. You sat up and took a sip before humming happily at the taste.
"Is it a spell?" you asked him.
"Yes," he nodded, not hiding that fact. "Enjoy your coffee," he added.
"What are we doing today?" you asked him, since there were no missions.
"We are doing whatever we want. We could stay up here in the bedroom all day and you could let me worship you. We could go and read for the day. We could even take Willow to the dog park again" he suggested.
"Let's see what the team says" you kissed him softly on the lips and pulled away. "You never know, maybe something is up" you added hopefully.
"Very well, but finish your coffee" Loki sighed. You quickly took a sip, and it was still a bit too hot. You blew on the top using your ice ability and there was condensation going down the side and you took another sip and it was slightly cold.
"Hmm, perfect" you hummed happily. Loki leaned forward and gave you a soft kiss on the lips. "Even more so now" you cooed.
"I'm going to get some clothes to bring to your room. I'll be back shortly" Loki advised you and you stared unashamedly at his ass as he got up and left, leaving his coffee cup on the coffee table in the living room on his way by. You got up and gulped back the rest of your coffee, putting your cup in the kitchenette sink, and then went to change for the day in a pair of jean shorts and a black v-neck t-shirt. You turned on some music of your love songs and washed your one cup before Loki came back into your room. He looked at you and his eyes darkened just a smidge and you giggled.
"No, no... I'm in recovery" you reminded him.
"I shall kiss it better" he said with promise and went to your room to put his clothes away.

"I've got something else you can kiss" you called to him after a moment.
"Darling, I would kiss every inch of your body would you allow it" Loki called back. "I will be very thorough," he added with promise.
"Of that I have no doubt" you giggled, and took out a bottle of orange juice to drink. "Do you want some orange juice?" you asked him as he came back out, completely changed into a pair of blue jeans and a green t-shirt.
"No, thank you love. I have a coffee still" he picked up the mug and took another sip of it.
There was a knock at the door and you drank down your orange juice and put the bottle into recycling before answering the door. Willow was barking loudly in excitement, and Kitty jumped and went to the bedroom to hide. You opened the door to see Thor standing there looking a little worried.
"Good morning" you said in an upbeat tone.
"Good morning" he said with a smile and had a look of relief wash over him. "I went to my brother's quarters, but I was unable to find him," he admitted.
"He's here" you opened the door the rest of the way and Thor nodded his thanks and came in. He was dressed down in jeans and a white shirt that clung to him like a second skin.
"Good morning Loki" Thor greeted him.
"Good morning, what were you looking for me for?" Loki asked him quickly.
"I just never see you anymore, I wanted to spend time with you before breakfast. Did you take Willow out yet?" he asked him.
"Yes, before Y/N woke up" Loki shrugged, as though he wasn't touched that Thor had been looking to spend time with him again.
"Coffee?" you asked Thor.
"Please" he nodded.
You went and made Thor's coffee the way he usually liked it and put it down in front of him, since he was now sitting in front of Loki in the chair across from him in the living room. You didn't need to be told twice. Whatever Thor wanted to talk to him about, you didn't need to be present for.
"It's a bit before breakfast, why don't you two stay here. I'm headed out for a bit before we eat" you said, heading into the bedroom to get Kitty and then bringing Willow with you, heading out the door.
"You don't need to leave" Thor tried to be polite.
"I want to, you two need to talk" you reminded him, and you closed the door behind you. Standing in the hallway, your usual thought would be to go knock on Gabby's door, but it was closed so you assumed that Bucky was in there with her. You didn't want to walk in on morning activities. You then walked to your music room and turned on the music and shut the door. You sat down on the swing, while Willow took the couch, and Kitty climbed up onto your shoulders. You opened your book and went back a page to make sure you didn't miss anything good and got back into it. It wasn't long until you lost track of time and you were enraptured by the pages of your book.
