"What is he doing?" Sora questioned. "There's no way."
"Maybe he's guilty." Chishiya suggested.
"Of what?" Sora asked, looking at Chishiya.
Chishiya shrugged. "I don't know, he seemed guilty about something." Chishiya commented. Sora looked down, checking out Aguni's body language – Chishiya wasn't wrong, but what was Aguni guilty about. However, what Aguni did next, it seemed like a man in pain rather than guilty. Sora rested his arm on the railing, watching the scene before him. Chishiya's hand was still wrapped around Sora's wrist. "Or he could just want to die." Chishiya added.
"Why?" Sora questioned. It was a stupid question but at the same time, from what Sora saw of Aguni, he was a good player. Something was eating him alive to make him want to die like this.
"Aguni is not the witch!" Arisu shouted. "This is a Ten of Hearts game! A game that toys with people's feelings! It's not a game where you win by killg Aguni!" Aguni turned to Arisu, "You're not the witch. So why? That's because you have another motive." Arisu stated.
Sora tilted his head.
"Another motive?" Usagi asked.
"The one you killed was not Momoka. It was Hatter." Arisu said. The militants slowly started to lower their weapons, confused about what Arisu said. "I found out after I saw your eyes. It was as if you had given up all hope. Those eyes. It was the same as mine that day. Those eyes after I killed my friends."
Sora inhaled sharply. He wondered if he had the same look on his face.
"You're not dumb. Yet you wanted to kill everyone right from the start. That's not like you! You must have had another motive in mind." Arisu pushed himself up from the ground. "Ever since i came ot the Beach, I thought it was strange. If you had these many firearms, the militants would have gained control over the Beach a long time ago. Yet that didn't happen until now. In reality, you were not in conflict with Hatter at all." Sora stared at Arisu – he didn't really peg that, but then again, Sora wasn't paying attention to what it was between Aguni and Hatter. "Didn't you both actually help each other? You wanted to make sure that dangerous people like Niragi don't go on a rampage. You tried to hold them back." Arisu said.
Sora glanced at Chishiya, seeing his lip twitch, stopping himself from smiling.
Arisu limped his way towards Aguni. "You... weren't you and Hatter best friends in reality? Then why did you kill him?" Arisu stopped, staring at Aguni. "For some reason, you couldn't forgive Hatter for what he did. You wanted to stop Hatter and his crazy ways. You wanted your best friend to regain his senses." Arisu stated.
Aguni stood there a moment before grabbing Arisu by the collar. "What would you know?" Aguni started to punch Arisu. Tatta and Usagi ran to Aguni, attempting to stop him. Aguni continued to take his anger out on Arisu, punching and kicking him. Aguni pushed Tatta and Usagi off him, picking Arisu back up. "What would you..." Aguni trailed off, unable to speak.
