Chishiya and Sora completed one more game before heading back towards Shibuya Crossing. There were two blimps left – King of Spades and Queen of Hearts. They had to deal with the King of Spades in order to finish with the Queen of Hearts. The idea of time was gone from both Chishiya and Sora – by the time they made it back to Shibuya Crossing, it looked nothing like it had when they fled earlier. Without humans, the greenery took over.
It looked like a completely different place.
Sora couldn't help but feel a little unnerved by the state of the place. "It feels like a totally different Tokyo." Sora commented.
"That's what happens when humans don't take over," Chishiya said. Sora nodded. "Look." Sora looked forward, seeing Arisu standing by the crossing with a shotgun on his back. "Hey!"
Arisu turned, watching as Chishiya and Sora approached. "Fancy meeting you here."
"Chishiya. Sora." Sora waved to Arisu.
"There are only two games left. Players are starting to gather in Shibuya. I had a pretty good hunch that you were probably still alive." Chishiya stated. It wasn't a big hunch; Arisu was a good player. He'd figure out how to survive through the Face cards.
Arisu didn't answer, he waited to see what else Chishiya had to say. "What? Is that the only think you've gotta say?" Arisu asked.
"So?"
"Nothing. It's just... you're a lot less grumpy now." Sora couldn't keep his laughter to himself. Arisu wasn't wrong, Chishiya had lost some of his grumpiness and coldness.
"Oh, less grumpy, huh?" Chishiya asked. "Well, I've been through a hell of a lot." Chishiya stepped forward. "Hey, Arisu, can I share something with you that I've never told anyone before?" Sora tilted his head, wondering what Chishiya could say to Arisu.
Arisu nodded. "Yeah."
Chishiya took a second before he responded. "Well, I-" Sora's eyes widened as soon as a gunshot rang out. Chishiya stumbled back, falling onto his back. Sora ran forward, looking for the shooter.
"Yo!" Sora closed his eyes upon hearing the voice. "I thought I'd never see you again!" Niragi shouted. "I am so fuckin' happy!"
"Niragi!"
"Did you mean to miss a vital organ?" Chishiya asked. Sora wanted to smack him but stopped himself. He pulled Chishiya's jacket back to see the wound. "We're even now." Chishiya commented, looking at Sora.
Now, Sora smacked his shoulder.
"I didn't want to end things with a surprise attack." Sora went to stand up when Chishiya pulled him back down, not wanting him to be within Niragi's firing range. "So, let's begin. It's a new murder game. Not like there's anything else for the four of us to do here." Niragi stated.
