"I'm not gonna die, Aya."
"The last time I left you alone, you were stabbed."
"It happened one time, Aya, and you're traumatized for me. I'll be fine." Sora and Aya were having that conversation – again. Sora had been going out to games by himself ever since they arrived to the Beach. Aya didn't have an issue with it until tonight. Aya, Reika, and Yuumi were put together, heading in the total opposite direction of Sora. Sora was headed with a small number.
Apparently, for the last few weeks, Chishiya had been buttering up Hatter. Since Hatter couldn't have Sora in his Executives, Chishiya seemed like the second-best option. Sora wasn't too concerned about Chishiya's weird fascination with the exclusive group that followed Hatter's every word. However, tonight was Chishiya's trial. And, apparently, Hatter wanted Sora there to make sure Chishiya did a good job.
Sora was one of Hatter's "favorites," something Sora had planned to avoid. He didn't know if it was because Sora mentioned he was an actor, or if Hatter found him attractive. Sora had never seen Hatter with anyone but women, so he was going with Hatter found Sora's actor status something to brag about.
Saying you're friends with an actor definitely sounded good. Especially when Sora found several fans of his around the Beach. Whatever the case was, Sora was told to keep an eye on Chishiya, because Hatter saw that Sora kept himself closer to Chishiya than he should.
Sora wasn't going to lie; he had been sticking closer to Chishiya at the Beach. It was totally because Sora thought Chishiya was attractive. But at the same time, Chishiya kept a close eye on Sora too. Chishiya knew Sora knew that little detail. He just never admitted it – fine by Sora.
Yuumi scoffed, "You are acting like a worried girlfriend, Aya. Sora's one of the best players the Beach's got, stop worrying about him." Yuumi crossed his arms as the announcement of the games were starting happened. Yuumi stood up from the table they were sitting at in the club. "We don't have time for this." Yuumi added.
"Come back alive, Sora," Sora looked to his right, noticing one of the players was leaning forward. Sora almost got a face full of the player's breasts that were nearly falling completely out of her bikini. Sora knew she was one of Hatter's girls – and he had no interest in sleeping with her.
"Plan to." Sora pushed the woman out of the way, shaking his head as he stepped away from the table. The woman huffed, storming off. Sora rolled his eyes at the interaction – Sora was known to reject people if he felt like they wanted to use him. No, he wouldn't let that happen, he'd use them if he really wanted to.
Reika sighed. "Doesn't get tiring, Sora?"
"What?" Sora asked as the four walked out of the club.
"All those advancements, tiring, isn't it?" Reika asked.
