and hyunjin sits there, in his hotel room in australia, on the bed, in all black. he doesn't know what to think, he doesn't know what to say or do.

all he knows is that he can no longer hear the voice of his lover, he can no longer match his fingertips to his lovers hand, he can no longer love his lover and compare it to an eclipse.

he thinks, his mind is far from empty. maybe if he would have loved felix harder or never left him in that room alone or maybe even if he hadn't fell in love in the first place.

if he would have never fell in love then maybe he wouldn't have to go through the death of his lover.

but could hyunjin really think that? he loved felix, with everything he was. he felt complete with felix. felix was his everything. more than just a boyfriend, a best friend, a partner, a band mate, everything.

he can't help but remember felix's final words to him, "thank you jinnie, i love you so much,"

all hyunjin can think is that his love wasn't enough for felix to stay.

there's a gentle knock on his hotel room door. he opens it and it reveals changbin in a black suit, "hey hyunjin, you ready?"

hyunjin nodded. 

the service was like all others, yongbok actually had two services, one for intermediate family and one for all the of world, since all of the kpop industry had taken a break due to felix's death.

no one ever would of thought the sunshine himself was so low. it was so unexpected.

all the bandmates stand there, around felix's massive grave, filled with beautiful sunflowers.

"can i have a moment with him? alone if that's okay?"

the other members nodded and walked away to go see the rest of felix's family.

hyunjin sat down next to the others grave, he had cried for weeks up until felix's funeral, he doesn't think he has anymore tears left until he reads the in-graved stone.

here lies lee felix yongbok

who will always stay in our hearts

and then again, the tears run down his face, "oh my love, how are you up there? i hope you're doing okay,"

and no response, because felix's dead, and hyunjin will have to learn to cope with that for the rest of his life.

"im sorry the voices got to you my love, im sorry you never got the chance to step out of those voices,"
