The day after Blair's impressive debut in Bahrain, London life slowly returned to its familiar rhythm. While the city buzzed with excitement from the race, for Leah, it was time to settle back into her usual routine. After an exhausting training session, she and her friends decided to unwind at their favorite caféa warm and welcoming spot they frequented after workouts.

Leah, along with Kyra, Katie, Caitlin, and Teyah, walked into the café, the rich aroma of fresh coffee greeting them as they claimed their usual corner. Their conversation was light, mostly touching on football, plans for the week, and gentle teasing about Kyra's newfound interest in Formula 1.

As they relaxed, Leah's phone vibrated with a notification. Glancing at the screen, she saw a message from Blair, who had just returned to London for some media appearances and photoshoots before heading off to Jeddah on Thursday.

Blair: "Hey, Leah! Back in London for a bit. Throwing a party at a club tonight to celebrate the race. You should come! Bring the girls—it'll be fun!"

Leah smiled, a wave of excitement washing over her. Blair had performed exceptionally in her first race, and now it was time to celebrate. She quickly responded.

Leah: "Sounds amazing! We'll be there. Can't wait to celebrate with you!"

After sending the message, Leah looked up at her friends. "Blair's back in town," she said. "She's throwing a party tonight to celebrate her first race, and we're all invited."

Katie's face lit up. "I'm in. Sounds like a blast!"

Caitlin and Teyah nodded eagerly, already planning for the night. "Definitely count us in," Caitlin chimed in as she began texting on her phone.

However, Kyra was unusually quiet, her attention elsewhere. Leah noticed but didn't dwell on it until her phone buzzed again.

It was another message from Blair.

Blair: "By the way, is Kyra coming too?"

Leah chuckled to herself, sensing something in the way Blair had asked. She glanced at Kyra, who was now absentmindedly tugging at the sleeve of her hoodie.

"Hey, Kyra," Leah said, grinning mischievously. "Blair just asked if you're coming tonight."

Kyra's eyes widened, her face immediately turning a deep shade of red. "... did she?" she stammered, clearly caught off guard.

Katie, ever the instigator, leaned in with a knowing smirk. "Oh, really? Looks like someone's caught Blair's eye."

Caitlin and Teyah burst into laughter, joining in on the teasing. "It's so obvious, Kyra. You've totally got a thing for Becks!" Caitlin teased, giving her a playful nudge.

Kyra covered her face, laughing nervously. "I do not," she protested, though her blush said otherwise.

Leah watched the scene unfold, a mix of amusement and curiosity bubbling inside her. She'd noticed Kyra had been following Blair's F1 journey closely, and now it made sense. But seeing Kyra so flustered was unexpected and strangely endearing.

"Don't worry, Kyra," Leah said, offering a supportive smile. "We'll all be there tonight. Maybe you and Blair can have a little chat."

Kyra peeked out from behind her hands, still blushing. "You guys are the worst," she mumbled, but the small smile on her face betrayed her embarrassment.

As the afternoon continued, the teasing subsided, but Kyra's mind kept drifting back to Blair. She sipped her coffee, trying to focus on the conversation, but her thoughts were elsewhere. The truth was, Blair made her nervous. She was everything Kyra wasn't—confident, stylish, and effortlessly charismatic. Blair wasn't just an athlete; she was a rising star, someone whose name was becoming known worldwide.

Kyra couldn't deny Blair's stunning looks either. Every time she saw a photo of her—whether in her sleek McLaren gear or a glamorous photoshoot—Kyra felt her heart skip a beat. Blair had this undeniable presence, a mix of strength and grace that drew people in. And now, knowing Blair had specifically asked about her... it was both thrilling and terrifying.

It wasn't just about physical attraction, though. Blair was ambitious, talented, and handling the pressures of her new career with grace. She seemed like someone who could achieve anything, and that made her even more captivating.

Yet, Kyra couldn't shake the doubts swirling in her mind. Blair was famous. She could be with anyone she wanted—someone more experienced, someone who fit more easily into her world. Kyra was just a footballer, someone who'd never really figured out how to express her feelings, especially toward someone like Blair.

The message had thrown Kyra off balance. Did Blair asking about her mean something? Or was it just a friendly question? Kyra had no idea, and the uncertainty was driving her crazy. She could barely imagine having a real conversation with Blair without making a fool of herself.

Leah, sensing Kyra's unease, put a comforting arm around her as they prepared to leave the café. "Don't overthink it, Kyra. Just be yourself tonight."

Kyra nodded, offering a weak smile. But inside, the nerves were still there, swirling with every thought of seeing Blair again. She'd never felt this way about anyone before, and it scared her just as much as it excited her.

As they left the café, Kyra couldn't help but wonder what the night would bring. She tried to calm her racing heart, but the truth was, she didn't just want to be another face in the crowd for Blair—she wanted to be someone Blair noticed too.
