Kyra's face flushes deep red, her cheeks practically glowing as her hand lingers on the back of my neck. She's looking anywhere but directly at me, clearly flustered, her usual confidence replaced by a quiet vulnerability I don't often see in her. Her thumb brushes softly over my skin, as if she's grounding herself in this moment.

She finally glances up, her voice barely above a whisper, "Should we... go back?"

I let out a small laugh, shaking my head. Leaning back, I prop myself up on the bathroom counter, my legs dangling down. Then, with a gentle tug, I pull her closer until she's standing between my legs. I catch her gaze, my own eyes filled with intent, and say softly, "Not yet. I think we've got... better things to do."

Without waiting for a response, I close the distance between us, tilting my head slightly as I press my lips to hers. The kiss is gentle at first, exploratory, testing the waters—but as soon as I feel her relax into me, I deepen it, letting my hand slide down to rest at her waist, pulling her in even closer.

Kyra hesitates for a fraction of a second, but then she melts into the kiss, her hands finding their way to my shoulders, her fingers curling just enough to show she doesn't want this moment to slip away. Her lips are soft, warm, and the way she responds, timid yet eager, sends a thrill through me. It's like she's surprised by her own desire, letting me take the lead, trusting me to guide us.

My other hand finds its way to the small of her back, and I can feel her heartbeat pounding against mine. When I finally pull back, just enough to look at her, I'm greeted by the sight of her flushed cheeks and that wide-eyed expression. She bites her lip, looking a little dazed, and I can't help but smile.

"See?" I whisper, brushing my thumb along her jawline. "Better things."

She lets out a breathy laugh, her voice soft and unsteady. "You're... You're something else, Blair."

"Is that a good thing?" I tease, keeping my voice low, not wanting to break the quiet, intimate atmosphere we've wrapped ourselves in.

Kyra nods, her eyes searching mine, filled with a warmth and vulnerability that makes my heart swell. "Yeah," she murmurs, her voice sincere. "Yeah, it's a very good thing."

I smile, running my fingers through a loose strand of her hair, tucking it gently behind her ear. There's a part of me that wants to stay here forever, hiding away from everything else, just the two of us.

But even as we linger, I know we can't hide away much longer. Reluctantly, I give her a final soft kiss, a silent promise that this isn't just a fleeting moment.

She steps back, her cheeks still pink, looking at me with a shy smile that somehow makes me feel more grounded than anything else could.

Kyra gives me a teasing smile, her eyes narrowing playfully. "You know, I'm kind of jealous Leah had that before me," she says, a glint in her eye. "But what's even weirder is that she's not into you. Because honestly?" She pauses, her gaze growing softer, more intense. "You're... addictive."

Her words catch me off guard, and I can't help but let out a surprised laugh, feeling a warmth spread over me. "Addictive, huh?" I tease back, my voice a little softer than before.

She nods, her smile widening. "Yeah, Blair, you are. I don't know how anyone could resist this." She gestures vaguely at me, and I chuckle, reaching out to lace my fingers gently through hers.

"Guess I'm just glad you're not trying to resist," I say, my thumb running along her hand. "Because, for the record, you're pretty hard to stay away from, too."

Kyra's eyes sparkle, and she shakes her head, laughing lightly. "Good. Because I don't plan on letting you go anytime soon."

We stay there for a moment, savoring the quiet and each other's presence, before finally, reluctantly, letting go. The energy between us feels brighter now, more certain, and I know that whatever happens next, we're in it together.
