The morning was chaotic, to say the least. Leo had been a ball of endless energy since the moment he woke up, running around the house as if he had an endless reserve of sugar fueling him. Meanwhile, Amelia had been crying on and off for the past half hour, her tiny face scrunched up as she let out sharp, frustrated wails.

"Leo," I called out, watching as he bounced—again—on my couch like it was a trampoline. "Calm down, buddy. Your sister is sleeping. And we'll go out soon, I promise."

He froze for a moment, glancing toward Amelia in Kyra's arms, before flashing me an impish grin and continuing to jump.

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "Leo," I said more firmly, stepping toward him. "Do you want to play?"

He paused mid-bounce, his eyes lighting up with curiosity. "Play what?"

"I've got car games," I said with a raised eyebrow, knowing exactly how to hook him.

His face lit up. "YEAHHH!" he yelled, pumping his fists in the air.

I immediately brought a finger to my lips, giving him a pointed look. "Shh. Less noise, remember? Your sister's trying to sleep."

"Sorry," he whispered loudly, his grin never faltering.

I shook my head, taking his hand and leading him toward my game room. As soon as we stepped inside, his eyes widened at the sight of the setup—two racing simulator chairs, a big screen, and shelves filled with gaming gear.

"Woahhh," he breathed, his excitement bubbling just under the surface.

I turned on the consoles, setting up a racing game before crouching down to explain the controls to him. "Okay, so this pedal makes you go fast, and this one is the brake. Got it?"

He nodded eagerly, his little hands gripping the steering wheel.

"Good. Now, keep the volume low, okay?" I said, ruffling his hair.

"Okay, Auntie Blair!"

Satisfied, I left him to his game and headed back to the living room. The moment I stepped in, the scene before me made my heart melt.

Kyra was sitting on the couch, holding Amelia against her chest. The baby, who had been inconsolable for the better part of the morning, was now completely calm, her tiny fingers curled into Kyra's shirt as she let out soft, steady breaths.

I couldn't help but smile as I walked over, leaning down to press a kiss to Kyra's forehead. "Miracle worker," I murmured, settling beside her and resting my head on her shoulder.

Kyra glanced at me, her lips curving into a soft smile. "She just needed a little TLC," she said, her voice quiet so as not to disturb Amelia.

I shifted slightly, my gaze falling to the baby's face. Her tiny features were so delicate, her lashes long and dark against her cheeks as she slept. "She looks so much like Eva," I said softly, brushing a stray strand of Amelia's hair back gently.

Kyra hummed in agreement, her eyes warm as she looked down at the sleeping baby.

I leaned back against the couch, letting out a content sigh. "You know," I started, my voice light but sincere, "I think I'm in love with babies."

Kyra turned her head to look at me, her eyebrow raising slightly. "Oh, really?"

"Yeah," I said, my lips curving into a small smile. "I mean, look at her. She's perfect. And Leo, for all his chaos, is pretty great too."

Kyra chuckled softly, her free hand reaching over to intertwine with mine. "You're full of surprises, Becks."

"What can I say?" I teased, glancing at her. "You bring out the best in me."
