Thank you for reading my book. I apologize for any mistakes you might find; English is not my first language :)

The loud knocks on my door jolted me awake. My head throbbed, the pounding in my skull matching the relentless banging.
"Blair!" Kimi's voice was muffled but urgent on the other side of the door. I groaned, pulling the blanket over my face.
"What the hell, Kimi..." I mumbled, squinting as I rolled over and tried to block out the light coming from the window. My entire body felt like it had been run over by a truck. "What time is it?"
The door creaked open, and Kimi stuck his head in, looking startled. "Uh, sorry... didn't know there was someone with you. I'll wait outside. Flight's in one hour." He quickly shut the door before I could even ask what the hell he was talking about.
Someone... with me?
I blinked, the fog in my brain lifting just enough to register that. My hand fumbled for my phone on the nightstand, but before I could grab it, I felt something shift next to me. My heart skipped a beat.
No. No way.
I slowly pulled the blanket off me and looked down, only to find myself completely naked. And there, lying next to me, was a girl. A girl I did not remember.
I didn't notice the girl at first when Kimi barged in, my head pounding too hard to focus. But now, as I turned and saw her sitting up in my bed, the room spinning slightly, I really took her in.
She was tall, probably around my height, with dark brown hair that fell messily over her shoulders, still tangled from the night before. Her skin was tan, a little too perfect, like she spent more time under UV lights than the sun. There was a confidence about her—maybe too much of it. Her sharp, dark eyes locked onto mine, her lips curving into this smug smile that made my skin crawl.
She wasn't my type. At all.
The night before, under the dim lights of the party and probably after more drinks than I could count, I hadn't been thinking straight. But now, in the cold morning light, I saw her for what she was—cocky, too pushy, and full of herself. She was the kind of girl who thought just because she worked in a high-end coffee shop at the paddock and knew the drivers, she was untouchable.
Her makeup was still half-smudged from the night before, and the clothes she had managed to find from the floor didn't quite match. She looked at me like I was some kind of prize, not a person who had just woken up in a mess of confusion.
"Morning, superstar," she said, her voice low and teasing, like we were some kind of secret lovers. "You were wild last night."
I didn't reply, just frowned, my head throbbing as she scooted closer, running a hand up my bare arm like it was the most natural thing in the world. Her touch felt wrong—too familiar for someone I barely knew.
She leaned in, her breath hot against my neck. "So, when are you gonna give me your number? We should go out sometime, yeah? You were all over me last night. You must've felt the connection." Her voice oozed with this fake sweetness, like she was trying to reel me in.
I tensed, pulling away from her. "I don't think that's a good idea."
Her eyes flickered with annoyance, her smile faltering for a second before she recovered, brushing it off. "Oh, come on, don't be like that. I can tell you're into me. Last night—"
"I don't remember last night," I interrupted, sharper than I intended. My head was spinning, and her pushiness was grating on me. "And even if I did, I'm not interested."
