Chapter 24 Enzo

I didn't sleep long after Barbara slept, I was afraid that if I slept she would be gone like the last time and I would be damned if I let her slip out of my hands this time.
I watched her beautiful calm face, her thick lashes resting on her cheeks. She looks so in peace right now.

I wanted to have a couple of more rounds with her, I was going celibate for the last 6 months, but she yawned and I could see her lashes getting heavy with sleep. I will get my ways with her but not right now. My d*ck was angry though. He just wants her. He wouldn't even move in response to other girls, but thoughts of her bring it to life. And seeing her is just another story. He has been erect since I first saw her. Even during our argument.
I have a feeling he wouldn't just be quiet for a while now I have her.

I glanced at her one last time and Swift out her hold very gently. I have very important buisness to take care. I went out in the kitchen area and called Dante. I told him everything and ordered him to check cctv footage of the supermarket of that day to look for the man. I need to find who was behind this whole plan of snatching her away from me. I had promised her to do so and bring her father murderers in front of her.

I would peel their skin off from their bodies and let their bodies dry in sahara desert. How dare them to torture me like that. I had broken bones, been shot a couple of times, tortured and beaten till I passed out but these last 6 months without her were nothing compared to them combined. I never felt so low. Life turned hell for me.

I was in the kitchen whole time talking to Dante as from here I get a clear view of sleeping form. I was afraid that if I looked away for a moment she would be gone. I was scared that even I blink once she might disappear.

                      Next morning

I managed to get sleep for couple of hours beside Barbara. Although it was not very deep. I woke up couple of times, thinking she is gone.

When she woke up stretching in my hold and fluttering her eyelashes open. She looked so beautiful. "Goodmorning sweetheart. Slept well last night?"
She smiled at me "good morning, it was the best sleep I got in a long time."

"Oh sh*t what time it is?" She sat up on the bed. "I have to bring Lily and Liam from Mrs.Nowak's house."

"It's just 6:00 A.M. relax, I am sure nobody is awake by now." I smiled at her. "Besides I know a very good activity we could do in the spare time we have".

She narrowed her eyes at me and smiled "a good activity huh, I wonder what that would be?" She said tapping her finger on her chin.

I grinned at her and pulled her towards my chest. She gasped at sudden movement. "You will be death of me sweetheart" I said across her ear. She laughed in response.

A great day starts with great morning and a great morning start with great sex. After a great morning sex session on bed. We moved our sessions to shower. Perfect recipe for a great day.

After getting ready Barbara took a box in her hand and we walked across the street to the next house. When we rang the bell an old, petite women opened the door she smiled at Barbara and scrunch her eyebrows in confusion at me. Barabara introduced us and I took Mrs. Nowak's hand in my hand and planted a kiss at it, "good morning my lady" I said with a cheerful smile.
"You are quite a charming young man, beware of this one Samantha."
I gave her my charming smile and Barbara laughed at her remark.
"I will be careful Mrs. Nowak" she said.

When we entered her house. Lily and Liam ran towards us. They looked at me in surprise. Lily said "didn't you guys broke up?" Barbara widens her eyes at her "Lily" she said in warning. Lily smiled  and said to me "I knew you would come back to her". I picked her up in my arms  "you did, you are too smart for your age" . She giggled "that I am".

Liam looked at me "does that mean you would play football with me?"
"Yes, I will"
Liam started dragging me outside. "I had learnt some new kicks Enzo I would beat you this time" he said. Barbara hands cake box to Mrs. Nowak and thanked her and walked behind us.
"Liam you should eat some breakfast before playing" she said. Liam groaned in response but walked towards the house.

Barbara cooked meal for four of us. I helped her. We ate and talked.
Kids ran outside to play and we went to kitchen towel do dishes.

"We should go back to New York, I have my work and I could investigate everything better from there." I told Barbara. "Okay" she replied just like that. "I liked it better in New York and Lily and Liam too like it there. New York is our home." I nodded at her.

We decided to fly later that afternoon.
Flying back was way better as I have her right beside me.
