Chapter 16 Barbara

With good there is always evil. Life is never supposed to be all happy. It will always have its ups and downs. My life was going all up for a long time. I was happiest until I wasn't. Little did I know I was about to hit my rock bottom. My life was about to change.

I woke up with Enzo between my legs giving me a leg shaking orgasm. After devouring me till my orgasm, he lifted his head from between my legs and wiped his face from the back of his hand and said "good morning sweetheart". He likes to wake me up like this lately.

After showering and having breakfast we were heading to the supermarket to stack up our groceries for the week. I didn't know Iong this vacation is going to last,but I am not complaining. I like being on beaches, near water, it feels peaceful. Although I kind of wish I could have Liam and Lily with us and even dad too. I don't how long it will take to Enzo to forgive him, because I kind of miss him. He is been there for me, for my siblings when mom died. He might not be a perfect human but he tries. He tries for me, for Lily and Liam. He had worked so hard to take care of us and I love him no matter what.

We were filling the cart with items on our list. Then I realised we needed some kitchen towels aswe are our of it and I forgot to add to the list. So I headed to the second floor to grab it.
Roaming around I found it and picked up two rolls of it. When suddenly a man from in shorts and white t shirt approached me.

"Hey Barbara I need to tell you something important." I got scared. Who is he and how do he know my name. I asked with wide eyes ''how do you know my name?"
He replied "we don't have time for this, your dad was kidnapped by Enzo's men. He is planning to kill him."

I stared at him with wide eyes "no Enzo wouldn't do that,you are lieing."
I was turning around to leave but he showed me a video. Not just any video when I heard my dad's voice I turn around and saw his phone. My dad was tied on a chair and was somewhere in a rusty abandoned basement. He was looking terrible, like somebody has beadten him horribly. His face was swollen and bloodied.
He was panting and struggling to speak because of his injury. He said "Barb my angel if you are seeing this video I want you to know run away from Enzo, he is not a good man. I tried to reach to you before but I couldn't because of his power. He kidnapped you and now me. He will kill me please run away angel and protect Lily and Liam. I love you all so my kids."

Tears started falling down my eyes when I heard my dad. I was crying silently. When video was over the man started speaking "I will help you escape this, but not right now. Tonight I will come outside Enzo's beach house around midnight. I want you to come out quietly from backdoor, without Enzo noticing. I will drive you to a place and from there someone will drive you to the boder of Mexico. When you will reach in Mexico you will fly outside the country with Lily and Liam."

"But why are you helping me?" I asked her smiled and replied "your dad paid me during torture. I am just a contractor fullfilling my contract." I nodded at him and replied "But we need to save my dad first". He replied "too late for that he is already dead." Fresh tears started falling down my eyes.
He said "you need to put yourself together and behave normally Enzo could get suspecious. Now you should leave before he starts looking for you."

I wipped my tears and walked to Enzo. Who smiled at me. But I couldn't reciprocate his smile. I put kitchen towel in cart and started looking at various cabinets for vegetables. I was shocked and angry at him. I want to hit him and ask him.why the hell did he killed my father. What kind of sick game is it. But I couldn't I have to be smart and take control of my emotions. Not for my sake but Lily and Liam's. They don't deserve this. They already lost mom and now dad. They deserve a good life. I need to put a show in front of Enzo for few hours until I escape him.
