The next morning, Miku awoke with a sense of resolve. She had spent the night turning over her frustrations in her mind, each thought sharpening her focus. Today, she'd prove that Kasane Teto was nothing more than a fleeting trend-a burst of chaotic energy that would soon fizzle out. Miku was the constant, the one who had been there from the beginning, and she intended to keep it that way.

As she prepared for the day, the memories of last night's concert still lingered, especially the overwhelming cheers for Teto. Miku scowled at the thought, her determination solidifying. Today, she had a rehearsal scheduled with the Kagamine twins, Rin and Len-two of her closest allies in the Vocaloid world. They were like siblings to her, and she knew they'd understand her frustrations.

The studio where they practiced was a familiar place, a second home where Miku felt most comfortable. As she arrived, she found Rin and Len already there, chatting animatedly. Rin, with her short blonde hair and bright white bow, was laughing at something Len had said. Len, with his matching blonde hair and a mischievous grin, noticed Miku first.

"Miku!" Len called out, waving her over. "You're just in time. We were just talking about last night's concert."

"Yeah, how did it go?" Rin asked, her smile warm and genuine.

Miku hesitated for a moment before replying, "It went... well." She wasn't ready to admit how much Teto had gotten under her skin. "The crowd was great, as usual."

"But...?" Len prompted, catching the slight edge in her tone.

Miku sighed, knowing she couldn't hide anything from them. "But Teto performed after me, and the crowd loved her. It's like... it's like they've forgotten all the work we've put in over the years. She just waltzes in with her wild antics, and suddenly she's the center of attention."

Rin and Len exchanged a look, their expressions darkening.

"I've noticed that too," Rin said, her voice tinged with annoyance. "She's everywhere now, and honestly, it's starting to get on my nerves."

Len nodded in agreement. "It's like she doesn't even take this seriously. We've worked so hard to perfect our performances, and she just shows up, throws together some random songs, and everyone eats it up."

Miku felt a sense of relief wash over her. She wasn't alone in her feelings. "Exactly! She doesn't have the same dedication we do. And yet, people are acting like she's the best thing to ever happen to the Vocaloid world."

Rin crossed her arms, her brow furrowed in frustration. "I don't get what they see in her. Sure, she's got energy, but where's the substance? Where's the artistry?"

Len leaned back against the wall, his eyes narrowing thoughtfully. "Maybe it's just a phase. You know how these things go. She's new and different, but once the novelty wears off, people will realize she doesn't have the same staying power."

Miku nodded, feeling a bit more reassured by their words. "I hope so. I'm not going to let her overshadow us. We've worked too hard for that."

Rin gave her a supportive smile. "Don't worry, Miku. We've got your back. The three of us-no, all of us-we've been here from the start, and we'll still be here when Teto's fifteen minutes of fame are up."

Len grinned, his usual playful demeanor returning. "Exactly. Let's just focus on being the best we can be. No one's going to outshine us if we don't let them."

Miku smiled, grateful for their support. The twins had always been a source of strength for her, and now, more than ever, she needed their reassurance. Together, they could weather this storm.

As the trio started their rehearsal, Miku felt a renewed sense of purpose. Every note, every movement, was executed with precision and passion. Rin and Len matched her energy, their harmonies blending perfectly with hers. This was what they had built together-a seamless collaboration born from years of practice and shared ambition.

But even as they worked, the thought of Teto lingered in the back of Miku's mind. No matter how much she tried to focus, she couldn't shake the feeling that Teto was a threat, a destabilizing force in their carefully constructed world.

As the rehearsal wound down, the three of them took a break, sitting on the floor of the studio, catching their breath.

"So, what's the plan?" Rin asked, looking between Miku and Len. "How do we handle this?"

Miku was silent for a moment, thinking. "We need to step up our game. Make it impossible for anyone to think we're being overshadowed. But more than that... I think we need to keep an eye on Teto. If she's going to be in our world, then we need to know what she's up to."

Len raised an eyebrow. "You're thinking of keeping tabs on her?"

Miku nodded. "Exactly. If we understand what makes her tick, we can counter it. We need to show everyone that she's just a passing fad."

Rin smirked, a hint of mischief in her eyes. "Sounds like a plan. I've never been one to shy away from a little friendly competition."

"Friendly?" Len chuckled. "I don't think there's anything friendly about this."

Miku allowed herself a small smile. "No, there isn't. But we're not going to let her disrupt everything we've built."

With that, the trio got back to work, their determination unshakable. They would rise to the challenge, together, and ensure that no one-not even Kasane Teto-could take their place.

But as the day wore on and Miku's thoughts kept circling back to Teto, she couldn't help but feel that this was just the beginning. The first cracks were starting to show, and Miku was determined to stop them from spreading. Whatever it took, she would protect what was hers.
