The castle servants were surprised to see and hear Crimson walking through the halls. Normally, his footsteps couldn't be detected, but now, they rang out all around. It sounded like one foot was injured, which probably contributed to the noise.

They watched him, bruised and slightly bloody, carrying a winged Number, who was in much worse shape, on his back. One wing, the left one, was left immobile due to the bandages keeping it on his back. Crimson himself had bruises on his whole body and a slightly torn tunic. His mask was no longer with him; he must have lost it in battle while he was out. He was limping slightly. The Numbers watched him make his way to the infirmary with the winged Number on his back. From just the wings on his back, it was safe to say that this was a Number 44 Sky Pegasus.

Crimson kicked the infirmary door open with his injured foot, which started hurting like crazy, but he didn't care much. A woman with pink hair and a doctor's coat looked over when she heard the noise. On her cheek was a Number 7 tattooed on. She was Number 7 Lucky Straight, the castle doctor.

"Crimson?" She looked astonished to see him back so soon. "What happened? You're back earlier than usual."

Crimson walked in. "I need you to see to his injuries," he stated, gesturing to the Number on his back with his head. "He is far worse than I am, and I can tend to my own injuries."

Lady Luck, her nickname among the castle staff and even the royal family, nodded. "Set him on the bed. I will make sure he gets back to full health.

Crimson nodded and set the Number on the bed carefully. He made sure he was laying on his stomach so as not to put any pressure on the wings.

Lady Luck started doing her medical work while whispering a chant that all Number 7s knew: "As long as the sun is whole and complete, I never have to fear defeat."

Crimson, who was almost fully healed, made his way to the infirmary to check on the winged Number he brought some days ago. He had yet to know his given name, which he liked knowing when he met someone. The ninja walked in and saw the Number sitting up and drinking some healing medicine rather reluctantly. If not for Lady Luck's constant nagging, he probably wouldn't have touched it! He wasn't wearing the goggles; they were laying on the table beside him.

"Good morning!" he said, settling himself on a chair beside the bed.

"Good morning, Crimson," Lady Luck returned with a smile. "How are your wounds?"

"They are definitely healing, thank you." He leaned back on the chair. "Ma'am, can you please give us a moment? I wish to speak with this young man alone."

The Number looked at Crimson with a slightly confused look while Lady Luck nodded. "Just make sure he drinks the whole cup."

"I will."

With that, the doctor left the area to tend to the other sick people in there. The winged Number looked over at Crimson with big puppy eyes.

"You won't really make me drink it, right?" he pleaded.

Crimson, who had never been fazed by these things, chuckled and shook his head. "I apologize, but you must drink it if you want to get better soon."

The Number huffed and took small sips of it. Crimson watched with an amused grin, which couldn't really be seen because of his mask. It was like watching the toddler prince, Number 96 Black Mist, refusing to drink his flu medicine even when it was mixed into his milk!
