I knew Rae ever since high school. She is at the same age as Shin and Agape—3 years younger than me.

I met her cousin, Michiru Hex, a year after I graduated high school. She is in the same 4th year batch as Ran, Luke, and Eliz that time, while I, Shiroi, Sam, and Noah were already on college. Her original father is Japanese with the last name Sasaki— whom she never personally met. Her mother remarried, hence she changed her last name into Hex.

Madalas s'yang sumasama noon kay Eliz no'ng nagsisimula palang kami sa career namin bilang isang banda. Palagi n'ya kaming pinagbe-bake at pinadadalhan ng cookies noon sa Horizon. Dahil pareho rin naman kaming nakakapag-nihongo, madali lang kami noon naging close. Hindi parin kase ako kagaling magtagalog at English noong mga panahong 'yon. We get attracted towards each other and then eventually became together.

May naririnig-rinig pa nga akong tuksuhan dati sakanila ni Shin kila Agape at Eliz. Ewan kung anong nangyayari sa Polaris noon, basta ang alam ko lang ay no'ng nakasama na namin ang Gassho sa Horizon, okay 'yong dalawa. 

Soon, I married Michiru, and who would have thought that after all the years we've been together, here we are—divorced. I didn't realize that the root of it all begun back when we hit the global stage. Mich was a supportive wife for me from the very beginning, and it slowly changed when we started to have world tour after world tour. From then on, she would ask me "Didn't you reach your goal at this point, so can you stop touring now?"

That's what I thought too— that touring the world to perform for a couple of times would be enough, so every time she asks me that, I just tell her that the upcoming one will be the last,  but... I ended up doing more... and more... that we start fighting over it.

That's when Rae and I began to talk. I would often check on Mich, every time we fight, to her, and I would end up asking her for some advice on what I should do to fix the issue, to which she is often a good help with. I guess, that's one thing that keeps us from resulting to divorce. And without realizing it, I found myself sometimes thinking 'maybe Rae could be a more understanding wife for me.'. I know its a sinful, selfish thought, so I denied it many many times before, until such time that I no longer can satisfy Mich's needs, and she grew tired of understanding me, and then the divorce happened.

As time goes by, Rae have become even more valuable for me, so now that the Forward tour brought us back here in the country, I wanted to tell her how she truly means to me.

But she didn't come.

"Why are you changing it's water so frequently?" Masyado 'ata akong nalibang sa kakatitig sa mga bulaklak, kaya bahagya pa akong nagulat no'ng marinig kong itanong 'yun ni Noah.

"The hydrangeas needs plenty of water. I don't want it to wither."

I didn't hear him say anything after that. I assume he was off to change his clothes too in the other room. Not long after, Noah came back wearing a hoodie jacket and a sweatpants. "I'm going to buy some food. 'Want some? What do you want?"

I don't really give it much thought. I just say whatever comes to mind. "Water."

"I'll go get you some food. Samahan mo akong kumain. Sandali, babalik ako ah."

No'ng nakaalis na si Noah, do'n ko nalang din napagtanto kung anong pinagsasabi ko. Why did I even told him water? Tsk, labo.

Nagpalakad-lakad lang ako sa loob ng dressing room habang hinihintay si Noah. Maya-maya lang ay may narinig akong katok sa pinto.
