a/n | not sure how many chapters are left, but i'm going to finish this story up 👏

Blade has been gone a whole hour and she was already bored. Her books and the TV were good distractions, but she got bored quickly. At one point she even tried to bake, but the soreness in her lower half was just too much and she found that she could barely stand on her own. Honestly, Blade had really done a number on her…

So, with reading, watching tv, and even cooking out of the way she ended up trying other things. She tried on Blade’s clothes and ended up deciding to wear them since they were bigger on her and more comfortable, she watched grass grow, dabbled a little in art on forgotten, blank pieces of paper, and also tried to sing a couple of songs that been stuck in her mind for the past few days.

Alas, her boredom was killing her. She hadn’t realized that Blade took up so much of her time and even made the days go by faster than they actually did. He made her unbelievably happy.

“I wish I went with him…”

Huffing, she found herself back in their shared bed, her arms encircling around the blankets as the ache in her lower half turned into a dull throb. And soon enough, her eyes started to get heavy, her breath slowly evening out.

“Maybe if I go to sleep, Blade will be here when I wake up,” her voice started to trail off as she sunk deep into the covers. The warm embrace lulling her to sleep. And in the midst of her drowsy state, she had heard the bedroom door open. Cracking her eyes open, she smiled when she made out a shadow.

Though, before she could say anything to welcome him, the power of sleep quickly won her over. She knew that she needed to take the medicine that he had gotten, but she figured that he could just wake her up later to take them. Right?
