Dear diary,
Since last time I wrote, 2 years have passed. Time went by so quickly. In these 2 years we have done 2 European tours where so many memories were made. But without rushing trough these two years, let's start in 2023 in Vilnius during the rehearsals for the tour. This is where 2023 would turn into a rough time for me and my best friends.

Berlin 16.05.23

Heiko opens his window to let in some fresh air. While he opens the window, he looks out into the busy street he lives at. There is a woman walking her dog, a guy painting the windows of the building across from him. The guy notices him and friendly waves at him. Heiko smiles and waves back. It was a nice sunny day. The perfect day for the start of summer. He walks away from the window and walks into his closet. He grabs a suitcase and puts it on his bed.

He went back into his closet, grabbed some clothes and laid them on the bed. He then went to the bathroom, grabbed his toiletries together and put these on the bed too. Then grabbed his laptop, canera, headphones and chargers and also included them on the bed. He looked over all the items laying there. He had everything he would need. He put everything neatly into the suitcase. Finally he also grabbed his diary and a pen and also put them in the suitcase. Heiko looked at his phone. He saw a message from Till. He opened it.

"Plane is waiting."
Heiko texted back:
"Shut up, I have 1 more hour."
Till: "hahahah! See you soon!"

Heiko shook his head. This was a way of Till to check they were all ready to leave. He ordered a taxi and quickly grabbed an SD card from his studio. Extra storage is never bad. He grabbed his suitcase and walked out the door.

He put in his headphones and listened to his playlist. The first song that started playing, was one he hadn't listened to in a long time. It always reminded him of some very special memories.
This song was: One way wind - the cats. He turned up the volume and dreamed away for a while.

Some minutes later he arrived at the airport. He thanked the taxi drive and got his suitcase. Walked towards the gate where they would meet. On his way there he decided to buy a coffee, since he was a bit early. Heiko then sat on his suitcase near their meeting point and continued listening to his music. He dozed off into his own thoughts until he noticed someone standing in front of him. He looked up.

"Hello! I'm so sorry for bothering you.. but, can I take a picture with you?"
Heiko smiled, got up from his suitcase and took off his headphones. "Ofcours" he smiled for the picture. The girl thanked him and he continued with what he was doing like nothing had happened. Minutes passed and then he felt some hands on his shoulders. He recognized these out of thousands. "Hey till." He said without looking.
"How do you know it's me?" "I know you too well." They chatted and waited for the others to arrive.

It didn't take long, until they were complete. They then headed to their private jet. They all took their seats and started chatting like they hadn't seen eachother in years! Heiko sat across from Richi. Next to them were Chris and oliver. They were like little kids going on a field trip. Full of excitement. As the plane took off they started joking around. "No way back anymore!" "Till you need to move we need more weight on this side! heiko is too small!"

After some minutes they all calmed down, and started minding their own business. Some reading, some listening to music, others watching movies. Heiko listened to his music, then took his camera from the suitcase and snapped a photo from Richi.
"What are you doing?!"
"I'm your personal paparazzi!"
"Bodyguard!!!"
Till now looked from the other side of the plane over to them.
"Sorry Till. We behave." Said Heiko.

They both laughed softly now.

"Well.. show me that picture""No.. it's for my private collection." Heiko joked, as he turned the camera around for Richi to see it. He got a little smirk on his face. "You need to practice more." "I take that as an invitation.." Richi ignored that comment and continued reading. The title of the book already sounded boring to Heiko. He continued listening to his music. It's been a long time since he has been to Vilnius but he remembers it to be a calm city with a lot of trees. The concert location looked really nice in the pictures. He couldn't wait to finally see the stage all build up again.
