The birthday surprise

8 december..

It was a rainy fall day. The wind blew against Heiko his window. He didn't mind this at all. He loved the sounds of rain and wind when he was laying in bed. It helped him to clear his mind from the thoughts he always has. This must also be the reason why he felt rested for once. He woke up around 9:00. He took his phone and saw he had a few messages asking him what the plans were for tomorrow. Tomorrow it will be his birthday. Heiko didn't really feel like responding yet. He didn't even know the plans for tomorrow. The only thing he knew was that the guys had something planned for him and that he needed the whole day for it. Heiko was kind of excited but also terrified at the same time. You never know what kind of crazy ideas the guys come up with. He put his phone down and closed his eyes again. He fell asleep.

Then out of nowhere he got woken by someone jumping on his bed!

"GOODMORNING!" Heiko almost got a heart attack. It took him some time to realise it was Chris.
"WHAT are you doing!?" Said Heiko.
"I'm here to prepare you for tomorrow!" said Chris.
"Prepare me?!.. What have you guys planned!?"
Chris laughed and said: " Don't worry you will love it!"

Heiko didn't really respond to it. He put his hands to his face to wake himself up. Then he noticed that Chris brought some black balloons.

"You are a day too early for that" Said Heiko.
"No! I'm exactly at the right time with it."
"I don't get it.."
"You will know tomorrow. But for now.. You are not allowed to touch them!" said Chris.
"Why? are they going to explode?" Said Heiko while laughing.
"I'm not going to say anything just yet" responded Chris. "OKAY! Time for you to get your ass out of bed"
Heiko took a deep breath and said "FINE".
"I wait downstairs for you!" Said Chris while he walked out the room.

When Chris left te room Heiko walked over to the balloons. "Do not touch them.." Said Heiko to himself. He took a good look at the balloons. They were coloured black, four regular shaped balloons and one star shaped balloon. "why the star.." Thought Heiko to himself. He got dressed and walked downstairs.

"So what now" He asked.
"Time to explain you the rules of tomorrow! With some coffee."

They walked outside and sat down in Chris his car.
"Am I really going to enjoy this?"
"OFCOURS.. We are not that horrible!?" responded Chris.
"Till is.... Sometimes... "
Chris laughed. "That's true!"

They drove to a coffee shop in the center of the city. When they arrived, Chris took a notebook from the backseat. The notebook was decorated with a galaxy print.
"What is that?"
"This is an early birthday gift" said Chris.
"What is up with the stars..?"

Chris laughed and clearly ignored the question because he got up and walked out the car. They got inside the coffee shop and ordered some breakfast and coffee. Chris put the note book on the table and pushed it towards Heiko. "here you go".

Heiko took the notebook and opened it. On the first page was written:

" 9 December 2019.. A day to remember!"
and under that in smaller letters

"The rules!"
1) You have to give your phone to Till! No cheating today
2) You can use hints from people you see on the streets.
There were like 10 rules..

"You guys are taking this very serious.." Said Heiko. Chris agreed. Heiko turned over the page.

"Time to write your clues and memories right here"
"Clues??" Asked Heiko.
"it will all make sense tomorrow!" said Chris.
