Take aim

quarantine day 3

Today was a nice day. The sun was shining and the kids were playing on the rooftop terrace. Heiko sat at the kitchen table drinking coffee when he suddenly heard someone say something from behind him:

"put your hands up or you will die"

he felt something pressed against his back. He looked over to see it was Till who pressed a nerf gun into his back. Heiko put his hands up.

"You seriously took that here?!" He asked.
"Ofcours.. I have to be able to protect myself" he said with an evil laugh.
"You brought more?" Asked Heiko.
"that depends... are you on my team?."
Heiko laughed. "OFCOURS".
"In that case..."

till put the gun down and walked over to the couch. He took another nerf gun and threw it at Heiko.

"There you go.. Let's find the others."

They walked together through the house looking for Richi and Chris. They were both at the office room.

"GOT YOU!" Screamed Till when he opened the door with violence. Chris who was facing with his back to the door looked over in shock.
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING" he asked.
Then he noticed the Nerf gun. Richi had already noticed it and hid behind the desk. Chris stood up and ran behind the desk as well.

"We all know the rules!" Said till with a demanding voice.
"Yes we do!" Screamed Chris from behind the desk.

1) you can hold the gun for 30 seconds. Then you have to put it down and someone else has the chance to take it.
2) NO friendly fire!
3) you can heal each other but it will take 20 seconds. And you can't use a gun when healing someone.

"THE whole house is the battlefield! And there are some guns hidden trough the whole field!" Screamed till. "We are allowed to find alliances! But our team can not exist out of more than 4 people!"
"Choose wisely" said heiko.
"WE START NOW" said till who took a sprint towards the desk. Richi and Chris started to run out of the office. While Heiko and Till both tried to shoot them.

"30 seconds passed!" Screamed Chris when he left the office. Till and Heiko put down the guns and ran for it as well.
"there is a gun in the toilet" said till.
"I get it said Heiko" who ran towards the toilet.

Meanwhile Richi Also had found a gun in the living room.
"Don't pick it up yet!" Said Chris to Richi. "We have to wait till they get close."
"Yes" agreed Richi.

Meanwhile Heiko was running towards the toilet. On his way there he came across Kiara.
"YOU are now part of our team!" He screamed at her.
"Oh.. not this again" she said.
"There is a gun in the office, go get it"

Kiara put away her book and ran to the office. Heiko took the gun from the toilet and ran towards the living room. Meanwhile was till outside. He knew where he had hidden the best guns. He took the gun and ran towards the living room. He and Heiko stood in the door opening towards the living room.

"They hiding behind the couch" they heard a voice say from upstairs.
"YOU CHEATER" screamed Richi.
"Richi took the gun and took some shots at Till and Heiko who both shot back at Richi. Richi and Chris ran upstairs.
"GOT HIM" said till when he hit Chris. "4 more hits and he is dead!"
Kiara came from the office.
"Hide the guns" said Heiko since the 30 seconds had passed.
They all hid the guns. The game continued for some hours. After a while they both had a team of 4.

"We should have a shoot off" said till.
"Fine.." said Chris who was done playing the game.

They all gathered in the living room. Since this was the place you could hide the most. "3...2...1.... GO" said Heiko as they all ran after each other. Till, Heiko, Kiara and Nelly had made a plan to both target someone. Till would go after Chris. Heiko would go after richi. Kiara after Rike, and nelly after christian.

It didn't last long before Kiara was defeated by Rike. Nelly defeated Christian. now It was chris and Richi against Till, Heiko and Nelly.

"We should first take out Nelly" whispered Richi while he hid behind the couch.
"Oke"
they both shot Nelly at the same time.

"DEFEATEDDDD" you heard Chris say with an evil laugh. But he didn't pay attention that Till had already came from behind him and shot him.
"DEATH" said Till.
"COME HERE RICHI" screamed Till.
"Come here richi! It won't hurt for long" said Heiko when they both searched for Richi. Richi had hidden in a small corner behind the tent. When till walked away from his hiding spot he shot Till in the back.

"He is there!" said Till while he pretended to be dying. Heiko ran over there and shot Richi in his leg. Richi took a run for it. Heiko put down his gun and healed Till.

"We have to get him now" said Heiko.
"He went upstairs."
"Let's go!"

They both ran upstairs.

"RICHI come OUT!!"
"You can better surrender yourself or die like a coward" said Till.

They split up. Heiko went all the way up to the rooftop. While Till searched the second floor. "RICHI..." said Heiko when he found him. Richi pulled a sad face and sat down on his knees.
"I couldn't find a gun.." he said with a sad face.
"It won't hurt much" said Heiko as he shot Richi 4 times.
"WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS" screamed Heiko when he walked down towards Till.
"OFCOURS WE ARE" he said.

They all gathered in the living room again.

"The losers have to clean the mess and cook dinner tonight" said Till.

The losing team looked around them. The whole house had turned into a big chaos.

"Fine.."

They took their loss and started putting everything back in place. Heiko, Till Kiara and Nelly went to the kitchen. Till poured them a drink.

"ON THE WINNING TEAM" they all cheered.
"I want a rematch... " said Chris.
Maybe tomorrow said Till.
"BUT today we are the winners" he said while raising his glass.

Dear Diary..

What an amazing day it has been!
I haven't felt so alive since a long time.

We had one of our nerf-gun fights like back in the day. I am really thankful that Till brought them with him. I can't wait until we will have another of these battles again but next time I want to be in a team with Richi..

I'm curious what tomorrow will bring!
