1989's POV
"Ew! This coffee is disgusting" Red said, grimacing. "Taste it"
"No! You just spit in it" Speak Now moved away from Red indignantly.
It was Monday and we were all sitting in the school cafeteria durning lunch break.
"I need sugar, I'll be back in a moment" Red stood up from the table.
"Where's Fearless and Debut?" TTPD asked as she slowly ate her salad.
"You don't wanna know" Speak Now replied, leaning on Folklore's shoulder, who was reading a book and was totally unaffected by the noises of conversations.
"They fit together, just like lovebirds" I replied referring to the relationship of Fearless and Debut. Honestly, it was obvious from the beginning that they would be together, it was like love at first sight.
"Yeah but they don't have to make out in school bathroom"
"Who's throwing up in the bathroom?" Red asked and Speak Now jumped.
"Why are you literally everywhere?!" You scared me!" she screamed."And where's your coffee?" she pointed at Red's hands which were empty and gave her a suspicious look.
"Mind your own business, kid" Red responded, egging her on.
"Hey! I'm older than you!"
"Here we go again" Folklore said, closing her book.
"Is this normal?" TTPD asked confused as she watched Red and Speak Now mock each other.
"You'll get used to it" I said, laughing. TTPD nodded shyly, her gaze wandering around the room.
"Is your sister single?" she asked Lorie after a moment, resting her gaze on Evermore who was sitting at the other end of cafeteria.
"I don't know, why are you asking?" Folklore frowned. She was always protective of her sister, Evermore too, but she didn't show it that much.
"I'm just curious" she said without taking her eyes off them.
God why is she staring at Midnights like that.
"Stop staring" it slipped out of my mouth, I said it meaner than I intended but it worked and TTPD was now looking at me. I noticed that her cheeks had turned pink. "Sorry, I didn't want to be unkind"
Was it jealousy?
Certainly not. I can't be jealous.
"It's okay, I couldn't be angry with you" she replied, sending me a gentle smile to which Folklore looked at us suspiciously.
"What?" I asked her as she started giggling. Speak Now and Red were so absorbed in their discussion that they didn't even pay attention to us.
"Nothing" Lorie replied without stopping laughing and I still had no idea why.

I walked home with TTPD because she is my neighbor after all. We didn't talk, we just walked in total silence. It was a bit awkward.
"So how's your French project going?" I started trying to strike up a conversation.
"Really well! We've already finished it" she responded, smiling at me.
"In one day?" I was a little surprised.
"Yeah, it was really great working with Beautiful Eyes"
"Did you get along?" I asked to which TTPD nodded.
