Y/N told her friends everything, well, almost everything. The daughter of Hephaestus kept one secret from Percy, Annabeth, and Grover.

The secret was her massive crush on Luke Castellan. She knew he had done horrible things, including betraying the whole camp, but she didn't blame him. How could she? Y/N was fully aware that Kronos was controlling him the whole time.

"I've got training in an half an hour." Annabeth said. "So, I'll be leaving soon."

Y/N gasped. "I totally forgot that S/N asked me to help them at the forge today! Bye, guys." She quickly ran off.

"Oh, bye." Grover said, surprised.

"See ya!" Percy called, being used to he forgetfulness.

Y/N walked towards the forge. On her way, she walked past the criminal containment unit and noticed it was locked. Huh? I wonder who's in there. She thought.

I mean, It wouldn't hurt to look.

Caustiously, she walked towards the barred window. Inside was...Luke!

"Luke!" She called.

The blonde's head snapped up. "Y/N?" She could hear his voice, though it was muffled by the glass. "What are you doing here?"

"I was just curious." The daughter of Hephaestus replied.

"Well, it was nice seeing you, or anyone, for that matter." Luke chuckled sadly.

"Yeah...see you later." Y/N walked away quickly, an idea forming in her mind.

After all her siblings had fallen asleep, Y/N carefully snuck out of her cabin. Avoiding harpies, she crept into Chiron's office.

Luckily, the centuar wasn't in there. She looked around, the shadows that loomed over the desk made it harder to see. Finally, her eyes locked on the small piece of metal. The key.

Quickly, Y/N snatched it before creeping back out. She saw harpies flying in the distance, but payed no mind to them.

The daughter of Hephaestus walked up to the barred window of the containment unit. "Luke!" She whisper-yelled, giving the glass a slight tap.

"Y/N? It's dark, why are you here?" The boy asked.

Y/N grinned, holding up the key. Luke's eyes widened as it glinted in the moonlight. "Did you steal that?"

The girl nodded. "I'm gonna get you out." Y/N moved to the door, unkocking it as quietly as possible.

When the door swung open, she sighed in relief. "Luke." She breathed out.

The son of Hermes pulled Y/N into a tight hug. "Thank you." He laughed slightly in disbelief.

"Let's go." Y/N pulled away, grabbing Luke's hand to lead him.

"Go where?" Luke asked.

"We have to put this away." Y/N responded, holding up the key.

The two carefully snuck into Chiron's office, then into the Hephaestus cabin.

"Hide under my bed." Y/N whispered, pointing.

"Y/N?" S/N muttered sleepily.

Y/N froze. "I was just...peeing." She lied.

S/N groaned and rolled over, falling back to sleep.

The daughter of Hephaestus crawled under the bed beside Luke. "Thank you, again." The boy smiled.

"I missed you." Y/N admitted. "It was so unfair for them to lock you up when it wasn't your fault. I was honestly misserable without you to cheer me up."

"I missed you, too. You know, you were always my favorite to be around. You still are." Luke said.

"I am?"

"Definetly. I'd choose you over anyone else in this camp." Luke nodded.

"I...like you." Y/N confessed, hiding her blushing face.

"Really? I've always had a crush on you. I just...didn't think you felt the same way." Luke replied.

"Seriously?" Y/N looked back at the boy. Luke nodded, pulling her closer. Timidly, Y/N pressed his lips to his.

After a few seconds, Luke pulled away. "Can I be your boyfriend?" He asked.

"Only if I get to be your girlfriend." Y/N grinned.

The next morning, Y/N stood up. All of her siblings were gone ar breakfast, or doing some other thing.

"I'm gonna go get food. I'll bring back breakfast for you." Y/N said.

"Got it." Luke nodded.

Y/N walked to the pavilion. She heard whispers of Luke all around.

"Did you hear Luke Castellan escaped?" A camper askedm

"I thought that unit was fool-proof." Another one marveled.

"What if he wants revenge for being locked up?" A Demiter girl worried.

Y/N calmly grabbed two plates of food, making an offering before walking away.

Why was Y/N so calm? Percy wondered. Noticing she had two plates, he decided to follow her.

"Come with me." Percy grabbed Annabeth and Grover.

"Why?" Annabeth frowned.

"I'll explain on the way." The son of Poseidon responded.

After Percy filled his friend in, they quietly opened the door to cabin 9. They saw Y/N and Luke, laughing as they ate breakfast on the floor.

Stunned, the trio let them have their moment. Finally, Percy snapped out of his shocked state. "What's going on here?"

Luke started to freak out. Quickly, Y/N jumped in front of the blonde. "Don't hurt him! It's not his fault. You know that. You know Kronos was controlling him."

"Did you free him?" Annabeth asked.

Y/N nodded. Suddenly, Luke grabbed the daughter of Hephaestus' waist, pulling her into a kiss.

Percy, Annabeth, and Grover were flabbergashted.

"I...huh." Percy murmered, silently accepting the couple.

"Aww, Y/N, I'm so happy for you." Annabeth smiled, pulling the girl into a hug.

"I'm just confused. But, you do you." Grover said, still dumbfounded.

"Good for you." Percy nodded slowly.

"We won't tell anyone." Annabeth assured.

Luke sighed in releif. "Thank you."

"Let's give them some privacy." Annabeth grabbed Grover and Percy, pulling them out of the cabin and shutting the door.

"You can hide here until camp is over." Y/N smiled at her boyfriend.

Luke smiled, pulling the girl close and pressing his lips to hers. She instantly kissed back.
