-JASON'S P.O.V-

"Watch it!" Jackie screamed as Carter came through to the living room with a skateboard, "You almost ruined my dress."

"Sorry sis." He laughed and continued to ride it around.

"Carter, your mom is getting married soon. I'm sure she would be very upset if you came with a broken arm." I said and pointed at the skateboard meaning to give it to me.

"Dad." He groaned and put it in my hands, "Mom would still love me."

"Yeah but she'd be even more pissed at me than she already is." I said, fixing his tie and brushed out his hair, "Now let's go. We are running behind. I was supposed to have you both there at 1."

"I'm like so blaming you," Jackie said huffing and running out the door.

I groaned and ushered my son out as well, "Jessi! I will be back soon for you guys okay?"

"Okay babe!" She screamed up the stairs probably still getting ready.

Yes Alyssa invited me to her wedding. We have kids together. I know she hesitated but that's the kind of person she is. Forgiving and loving. I did contemplate not going but Jackie talked me out of that completely by saying Alyssa would be more devastated if i did not come.

I was responsible for getting both Jackie and Carter there by 1pm. And it is now 1:45. Not sure how she will react but we will see.

-ALYSSA'S POV-

"I'm gonna assume you will be here soon then?" I heard my best friend in the other room, of course trying to be as quiet as possible so I wouldn't hear but i  did.

"They are not on the way?" I frantically walked to her to see the time.

"Hunny, please. Not the hair." My hairstylist said as she ushered me to sit down as my hair was still curling.

"They are now. Jackie said there was a little mishap in the morning with picking up the dress this morning but they are about 5 minutes away." Leah said smiling, "Everything is perfect."

"Leah, babe." I sighed loudly, "If it was perfect, Jason would have had them here an hour ago. I wanted to run through it one last time with everyone."

"Do you remember my wedding?" She rolled her eyes and laughed, "They lost Jaels tux. Yet we got married on time. Everything works out. Just be positive."

"Okay." I smiled back at her and closed my eyes. "I just want everything to go smoothly."

"In two hours time, you will be married to the love of your life and off to your honeymoon." She came up to me and looked at me through the mirror, "We got this."

"Can you check on Mikey?" I asked nicely batting my eyelashes at her, even though she checked on him 20 times already.

"Yes." She laughed, walking out the room.

"Nice friend." My hairstylist stated.

"Yes the best."

-MIKEY'S POV-

"I'm about to walk out." I paced through my dressing room, having a hard time breathing.

"Bro-"

"No the hell you are not." I heard Leah's voice boom and bounce off the walls into my ears. Leaving kind of a ringing noise. "I would kill you."

"Leah. He's obviously kidding. I was like this too. It'll be okay, Mikey. You got this bro." Jael said stopping me in my tracks and slapping me.

"Wow you thought about leaving me and our 3 kids?" Leah gasped.

"Well. Just you. We didn't have kids yet." Jael chuckled and Leah through a pillow at her storming out.

"I was kidding!" He yelled as she closed the door. "Don't ever do that."

"I won't." I laughed, "Thanks bro. I don't know what I'd do without you, especially since my brother is nowhere to be found."

"Bros for life. It's a given since our wives our practically sisters." He stated sitting back down on the love seat.

"I'm nervous. What if she decides to walk out?" I huffed next to him and put my head in my hands.

"Alyssa Cole is the most genuine person i know. She loves you bro. Never would she do that. You both are the best match. I don't know anyone else better together than yall. Besides Leah and i of course." He winked.

"Of course." I agreed, "I'm also nervous to say my vows in person to her, this is a big moment of our life."

"No matter what bro, you got this." He said getting up, "I am gonna check on my kids. I'll be back."

****TWO HOURS LATER****

"Alyssa,

"You bitch." She whispered just enough for me to hear. We laughed.

"Mikey,

From the moment you saw me in that little shop, I knew you'd be in my life forever. Something about you and your kindness to a random strange girl crying with blood stains. You helped her out with no hesitation.

I'm so incredibly grateful the life we built and I know we will continue to build. I vow to always be your best friend, your rock, your everything to the very last breath I take. To stand by you through everything. To never go to bed angry or sad. You have continue to show me so much love and support I could ever wish for.

You truly are the world's greatest gift, Gods blessing to me. Thank you for loving me and the kids so much. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."

We kissed. And it was magic.
