Alyssa's P.O.V-
I smiled as I dropped my bag and hugged the person whom I've missed. I grabbed my bag up again and we walked back into the hotel room.
"I've missed you, I'm so glad you called!" I smiled as I sat my bags down by the door. I turned around and sat on the bed.
"I really missed you too, haven't talked to you in days!" He smiled as he sat down on the spot right next to me.
"So, I know you didn't ask me to come to LA just for a visit." I said as I nudged him while laughing. It's true, you don't just come to visit.
"I have a very important question to ask you," He said as he looked at me nervously. I sat up straightly and looked at him weirdly.
"Alright, tell me, don't be nervous." I smiled as I nudged him again. He sighed and took a deep breath.
"Will you do a duet with me?" He asked as he opened his eyes, looking at me. I stared at him for a while before I started laughing. "I knew I shouldn't have asked."
"No, no, I want to. I just don't know why you're so nervous. I would have said yes with no hesitation." I smiled as I ruffled his hair.
"Thanks, Alyssa. It really means a lot that you said yes." He smiled as he stood up.
"It's no problem, Jason. I'm always here for you. Are we going to the studio?" I asked as I slid my jacket on.
"yeah, how'd you know?" He chuckled as he opened the hotel room door. I shrugged, I didn't, I just guessed. "you must go to the studio a lot.."
"I'm in there when I can, ya know? when I don't have concerts, I'm either writing or recording. It's tiring but so exciting." I smiled as I hit the down button on the elevator.
"How do you get you're writing inspirations?" He asked as the elevator opened as we walked in. I hit the lobby button.
"Well, I carry a lot of feelings inside, you know? I just express what I'm feeling on a piece on a paper and it becomes a song." I shrugged as we both walked out. I could already see the paps.
"ALYSSA! OVER HERE!"
"ALYSSA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR EX?"
"Jason and I are friends," I said as I made sure Jason was alright. They pushed their cameras in my face. "Can you please move?
"JASON? HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THE EX OF ALYSSA COLE?"
Jason just rolled his eyes and we both got into his car. we drove off to the studio. I could see paps following us which made me mad.
"I hate how they can just follow us," Jason said as he groaned and stepped out of the car. I laughed as we both walked passed through them.
I could barely hear them because their voices were all mixed up. I smiled as I hugged some fans and signed some things. Jason grabbed a hold of my hand and pulled me inside.
"Thanks, we ready to start writing the duet?" I asked as we walked into the elevator. "I actually have been writing a song but I can change it into a duet."
"That's great," Jason said as we walked down the hall to the studio room. "I'm so happy that I have an amazing song writer as a friend. otherwise, I'd be in shit."
"I'm sure, you're not bad, you just need to write deep inside. That's where my best music comes from." I smiled widely as I throw my bag onto the couch.
"So, what do you have so far?" He asked as we both sat on the chairs. I sat my music book on the table and skipped the pages.
"This is what I have so far, I think honestly I needed someone to sing it with me because it sounded kind of weird by my self." I laughed as I watched him skim through the lines.
