They complete me

Jason's P.O.V-

"CARTER!" I heard Alyssa shout as she chased him around the bus. I laughed as she almost tripped on her purse. I knew it wasn't nice to laugh but I couldn't help it.

"NO MOMMY! I don't wanna take a bath!" Carter shouted as he jumped onto me and wrapped his arms tightly around me.

"Carter, please?" She begged, sighing in frustration. She covered her hands with her face and rubbed her forehead. I sighed and looked down at Carter.

"Carter, listen to mommy and go take a bath, please?" I asked him, making him sigh loudly, jump out of my hold and into the bathroom.

"Thank you." She smiled at me before kissing my lips and walking over to the bathroom. "Can you please lay out some pajamas for him?"

"Yeah, I'll do it right now." I smiled at her before walking over to the room and grabbed Carter's bag. I picked out his outfit and brought it over to the bathroom.

"Thank you." Alyssa smiled over at me as I sat the clothes down on the counter. "Carter! don't do that!"

She laughed as she splashed him back, she wiped the water away from her face and washed the shampoo out of his hair.

"YAY! I'm done! Finally!" He stood up and grabbed his towel. He looked up at us. "I know how to get dressed..and you please get out?"

"Well, since you asked so nicely!" I rolled my eyes and chuckled. I messed up his hair and I walked out with Alyssa.

"My baby boy is so grown!" She cried out, throwing herself onto the couch and crossed her arms. "He's almost 3! and he acts like he doesn't need me anymore."

"Oh, babe. He'll need you." I chuckled as I sat next to her and slid my arm around her. She laid her head onto my shoulder.

"He better need me." She pouted.

The knob to the bathroom turned and out came a dressed Carter. He had everything on right. I was impressed, I knew he usually needed some help.

"MOMMY! I GOT DRESSED!" He shouted excitedly as he ran over to us and jumped onto my lap.

"I'm proud." She smiled widely as she ruffled his hair up. He groaned and fixed it. "Oh, hush. I'm your mom. I can mess up your hair."

"yeah, but I have to fix it." He gave her a look. He's gonna give us trouble when he's older. I just know it..and I'm not happy about it.

She stuck her tongue out at him before standing up. "Come on, grandma wants to take you somewhere. That's why I made you take a bath."

"YAY!" He jumped off my lap and grabbed onto Alyssa's hand. "Bye, daddy!"

"See ya, buddy." I smiled at him and kissed his forehead. "Behave. okay?"

He nodded and they both walked out leaving me alone.

Five minutes later-

"I'm back!" I heard my beautiful girlfriend shout from the bus door. I jumped up and ran over to her.

"YOU WERE GONE SO LONG." I cried out. I put my arms around her and hugged her tightly. "Never leave me again!"

"I was gone, 5 minutes.." She made a weird face and tried to pull away. She gasped and pushed me away. "That is off limits bud!"

"Sorry, boo." I chuckled and sat back on the couch. I watched her walk over, slapping me in the head, she sat next to me. "I said sorry."

"Yeah, and I didn't believe it." She looked at me and smiled. "You didn't mean it either so hush."
