i never really realized how why people hated school was until i had to get up at 5 am every day. i was used to getting up at this time and doing work or trips, but i always took a nap on the plane or something. but that obviously didn't happen this time.
I groaned as i heard my phone beep multiple times, not opening my eyes, i found my way to my phone and answered it.
"hello?" i whispered, my voice coming out scratchy. i cleared it and waited for the person to talk.
"baby girl, where are you? im at school and you're no where to be found, are you sick?" Mikey's voice boomed through and my eyes went straight to my alarm clock.
7:20 pm. school started in 20 minutes. i shot up, hanging up the phone and ran to my closest to find something to throw on, finding a random grey dress and just threw on my white sneakers.

i grabbed my phone and bag and ran down the stairs, i ran out my house and got into my car driving out my gated area and towards my school.
i started school about a month ago and this is my first time im being late. hopefully i make it though.
i finally pulled into school, at 7:42 and i got out, running into the school and spotted Mikey walking into class. i followed and walked in too, breathing hard as fuck.
"baby." he laughed, coming to kiss me on the cheek. i laughed and grabbed his water bottle and drank some.
"i made it." i laughed sitting down on my desk.
"yeah and you loook hot as fuck." one of mikeys friends said but i just can't seem to remember his name.
"i know." i smiled brightly before leaning back into my seat and winking.
Mikey and i weren't exactly a thing, but we called each other baby and other things like that. im just waiting for him to ask me to be his girlfriend, or i could ask him but i don't know if he wants to be anything more than friends. we've gotten to know eachother a lot and i feel like it's the right time to tell him i like him.

"Mikey," my voice coming out quiet due to the teenage boys laughter and bickering, so i cleared my throat, "Mikey!"
He turned his head towards mine and his smile widen, "yes baby girl?"
my heart started beating fast, alyssa, you got this, do it.
"i want to be more than just friends." I said confidently and it seemed like the rest of the group heard because they froze.
"like...bestfriend?" his voice went high and i could hear his friends groan but my eyes were only on him.
"no...i want a relationship with you." i said tucking a piece of my hair back, looking at my lap for a quick second then back up to him.
"oh." he whispered and he itched the back of his neck, "alyssa i don't like you like that."
