Better Life

-ALYSSA'S POV-

Did he just propose? To me? Is this for real?

I looked up slowly to notice all my family and friends staring at us. Flashes, cameras everywhere. But I felt stuck on Mikey.

"Yes!" I screamed and jumped into his arms and he picked me up hugging me as tight as he could again. "I'm so happy."

"SHE SAID YES!" Trey shouted in the background and everyone was laughing, crying. "FINALLY!"

"Hey! I'm sorry. I was finding a right time, weddings are not cheap!" Mikey pointed at Trey and they bro hugged.

After everyone coming up to me congratulating us, I felt someone poke me in the side.

"Congratulations Alyssa!" Jackie said and I pulled her into a hug. I felt her hug me a bit tighter than normal and I knew she missed me just as much as I missed her. I've known Jackie since she was 3. She's always seen me.

"Thank you baby," I kissed her cheeks and looked down at her outfit, "you knew too huh?"

She was dressed in a little pink dress that was so cute.

"Yes. I can't wait to have another sister. I am the best." She said excitedly and flipped her hair.

Jason and Jessi laughed behind her and I noticed that they were there the whole time.

"You are the best sister ever." I smiled at her and got an idea, "Wanna be one of my brides maids?"

Her eyes widen and she looked back at her dad then back at me. "FUCK YES!"

I burst out laughing and hugged her again. "I will let your parents know when I decide to get married. I will make sure you are with me every step of the way!"

"I love you Alyssa." She cried out and pulled back from our hug, "you are the best."

I watched her walk off towards her brother and I looked back up at Jason. I noticed that Jessi seemed..upset?

"I really hope you didn't mind." I said grabbing my belly, "Jackie is like my little best friend."

"No it's okay, she really needed to hear that. She's been having a hard time lately." Jason says as he pulled Jessi closer, "She has trouble with Jessi still and I don't know why."

Jessi seemed even more upset he mentioned that to me. I just realized she's probably upset because Jackie and I get along so well.

"She sees her as her mother figure. She's probably scared because Eliza traumatized her." I reassured Jessi, "I bet she loves you, and loves spending time with you. But jackie will come around."

"Thank you, Alyssa." Jessi smiled and hugged me. "I needed to hear that!"

"Alright," I laughed rubbing my pregnant belly, "I'm gonna go feed this baby girl for the fourth time today she's still hungry!"

They laughed and I went my separate way.

*SKIPPING TO AFTER THE PARTY*

"I'm tired." I yawned throwing myself onto the couch of my living room.

We had just finished cleaning up and everyone left besides Mikey and I. Carter is still on his week with Jason so he went home with him.

"I am too." Mikey said as he plopped down next to me. He was cheesing like crazy.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I asked looking at him weirdly.

"We're having a baby girl." He whispered putting his forehead onto mine, "I'm so happy."
