Sometimes Love Doesn't Last (AINBAN)

-ALYSSA'S POV-

"I'm your mommy," I say softly, grabbing my newborns finger and held it. "I'm gonna love you so much."

"So am I, lovey." Mikey smiled down at her, and a tear hit my shoulder, "She's so beautiful, like her mom."

He was crying. Mikey rarely cries and shows emotion out like this. It was so unreal and just a perfect moment. I am so in love with him. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this man and raise our kids.

"I know. I'm gorgeous. So she's bound to be gorgeous too." I joked through tears of joy and we both laughed.

"Knock , knock!"

Jael popped his head through the door and walked in happily, "Let me see that girl!"

I smiled as he walked over to her and softly grabbed her from me, he was gently rocking her and smiled down at her.

"Wow. Congratulations guys." He said looking up at us and back down at my baby girl, "You named her already?"

"Yes." Mikey said, putting his arm around my shoulder, "Lovely Bea Barone."

Bea was my mom's middle name. I wanted to contribute to her. She's been my rock this pregnancy. Shes the best mom anyone could ask for.

He smiled.

"How's Leah?" I asked concerned, "Is she okay? Are the babies okay?"

"They kicked me out." Jael sighed sounding stressed, "Baby boy and baby girl are thriving. Leah is just worn out. She passed out as soon as they finished. I just took this time to see you guys."

I cupped my face in my hands and got up as fast as I could without tearing or hurting myself.

"Babe. The doctor said stay in bed." Mikey got up and helped me, he tied the back of my gown and held my hand.

"I just wanna see Leah." I stammered and waddle next door.

I opened the door and there my best friend was, laying down, passed out.

"Is she okay?" I worriedly asked the doctor and he turned to me nodding his head.

"Yes. She's just asleep." He said patting my on my shoulder, "Give her some time and she will be back to normal." walked past me out the door.

I walked over to the side of the bed over to her newly born babies. They were so beautiful. A boy and a girl.

"You guys are perfect." I whispered as touched the glass where they were held.

"Thanks. That's because I am." Leah groggily laughed.

"How you feeling, momma?" I asked coming up to the bed and sitting down in the chair next to her.

"I'm okay." She shrugged, "I hurt a lot, i will be fine though. It's worth it. I'd do it again 60 times back to back."

I laughed and looked back at her newly born babies, "you guys make cute kids seriously!"

"Thanks." She smiled brightly looking past me at them as well, "Jael?"

"He's with Mikey and Lovely. He said they kicked him out for a few minutes after you knocked out so he came and visited." I said just as he came into the door.

"Lovely?" Leah laughed softly, "That's so perfect, Alyssa!"

"Thank you, I was so nervous what to name her but I really wanted to call her love." I laughed, standing up getting ready to leave, "Well I will leave you guys alone so you can enjoy your babies."
