This Time

Jason's P.O.V-

It was so frustrating, it felt like I was being sucked into a dark hole. I didn't even know what to think at this moment.

"I can't believe she didn't tell you," Cassie replied, as we laid down on the hotel bed. "you deserved to know.."

"You're taking this surprisingly well," I replied looking down at her beautiful face. Her face scrunched up making her look adorable.

I really actually love Cassie, she's amazing, sweet, kind, everything you could ever want. She's also 20 which is close to my age. One of the reasons I actually broke up with Alyssa is because I was 19 and she was 14. It didn't feel right, it felt like I was dating my sister.

"What's the supposed to mean?" She said playing with my dog tag.

"She's my ex girlfriend, with a child, my child." I said and started playing with her hair. It was long and soft, I could run my fingers through it all day long.

"I'm not mad or upset, you know I love kids..especially Jackie and now Carter." She smiled before standing up.

"Where you going? I enjoy cuddling with you." I pouted, standing up and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Nope, you're going over to Alyssa's room and apologizing." She wiggled out of my grip and crossed her arms.

"What? Why?" I threw my arms up in the air and gave her a look of disbelief.

"It is you're son after all," she said glaring at me as she poked me in the chest. "Now, you better go over and tell her it was a mistake to say what you said."

"Can't we cuddle first?" I asked tilting my head to the side with a puppy dog face.

"we can cuddle after you come back from apologizing." She crossed her arms, sticking with her answer.

"Alright, I'll go apologize," I said before pulling my shirt over my head and pants on. If you are wondering, no we did not do anything you are thinking.

"That's my baby," She quickly pecked my lips before pushing me out the room and closing the door.

"I love you too," I shouted from my side and started to walk towards Alyssa's room. It was some what nerve wrecking, I didn't know what to say or do.

I know people would think, what I said, was pretty harsh but from my point of view it really wasn't. She kept a huge secret from me, and it hurt a lot actually. I thought she would have told me when she first found out she was pregnant. I would have seen Carter being born, his first steps, his first word.

I stood in front of the door and took a deep breath before I knocked on it. I heard it start to open and saw Leah open it but quickly close it again. I sighed knowing it wasn't gonna be easy.

"Can you please open the door?" I asked knocking on the door again. It opened and I saw that it was Jael. he stepped out and closed the door.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" He said rubbing the back of his neck. He looked at the ground, looking everywhere but me.

"I'm here to-" I started but got cut off by the door opening to see Alyssa finally.

"Jael, it's okay, go back inside." She said smiling before patting his back and he walked back inside. Her smiled turned into a frown once she turned to me. "what do you want?"

"I wanted to apologize."

"Of course you do," she rolled her eyes before taking out her key. I grabbed her hand and turned her back to me. She quickly shook my arm off of her.
