"This is your home lovely." Mikey walked our daughter in our house and sat her car seat on the couch.
"You gonna give her the tour?" I asked laughing loudly shutting the door to our garage and dropping her bag on the floor.
"Should I?" Mikey stopped unbuckling her, "Is that something you do when you have kids?"
I raised an eyebrow, I walked up to him and put my hand on his shoulder, "No, I was just kidding."
He gave me a glare and grabbed our baby out the carset. He laid her down, laid next to her and just smiled down at her. "Go take a good shower. You reek."
He's been such a help at the hospital, even my whole pregnancy, he really stepped up and I think I'm in love with him more and more.

I smiled at them and walked upstairs to shower when I got a text message.

Becoming co parents and bettering our friendship is what mattered to me the most after our breakup years ago. It was really hard at first.
