~~~~~~~~~~Harini~~~~~~~~~
I stood there still trying to process what he told.
"Get out Miss. Harini" his voice boomed loud making me shudder a little.
"Why should I go?" I asked him with a brave voice with stern look.
"Can you convert an S-R Flip flop to D-Flip Flop?" he queried me with even more stern look at me. I stood there not knowing what to answer.
"Do you know or not?" he stressed the question. More than me, my fellow students had a fear of what is going to happen.
"I .. I don't know sir"
"Then get out"
Has he gone insane? I have not even studied them. He is purposefully asking me question from a chapter which we are not taught at all. That too this is just 4th day of my first year college. How would I know? I don't even know if that if that subject or topic is there for us in our syllabus.
Everyone's eyes were on me. So I slowly went to stand out side of the class. I could have even bunked the class by going out, but I don't have that much courage to do that so soon.
Hence I stood near the door entrance. All the way I was walking to the front , he gave me a stern gaze. I too glared at him.
"Sir.. but the question you asked is not something that I have been taught yet" I spoke standing near the door.
He completely ignored me and continued with his classes. I too remained silent to not make it more embarrassing in front of others.
Professor Vikram - I am going to give a name for him as Mr. Arrogant. The rest of the class too remained silent not daring to mess with him after seeing what happened with me.
One of the boy seemed to talk something or I don't know what he did, but Mr. Arrogant made him stand on the bench. That guy was tall . The moment he stood up on the bench, few of the students laughed sneakily.
And Mr. Arrogant precisely noticed who all laughed and made them as well stand on the bench.
That's it . From then on no one dared to mess with him or make any sound.
It was so tiring for us to stand for a longer time. We pleaded him. He gave permission for the other students who were standing on the bench to sit. But not me.
"Sir.."
He did not look at me and continued with teaching the boolean numbering system.
"Sir..Sir.." I called him again.
thalaeluthu ivanta kenjanumnu (my fate to plead to him) I mumbled
He looked at me and turned his gaze back to the other students continuing with explaining the concepts.
parrah.. avanuku avlo thimirnuna enakum naraya thimiru iruku.. (if he can show attitude I can also do the same)
Finally the class got over. It is an interval bell ring. He dusted the chalk dust from his hand by clapping lightly and wiped his hands with the kerchief.
I tried to walk to my place as the class got over. He again made a snapping sound of his thumb and middle finger stopping me.
"Did I ask you to go?" he asked.
"Sir. First of all I did not do any mistake. Moreover the question that you asked is something that I have not been taught at all. Still I respected your decision and stood out for more than half an hour. My legs are paining. For how long will I stand ? Moreover this is interval. Not your class" I spoke little harsh.
