Part 20

"You know I've known you for 4 months now and I have no idea what your major is?" Nika said as we walked out of the practice facility. We both just got done with our 3 hour practices.

"I'm an English major." I said giggling as she slung an arm over my shoulder. "So what do you want to do? You know after college." She said continuing the conversation.

"Well I already have my associates in English and I'm planning on graduating with my masters. So I can be an English professor. And I plan on continuing to get my doctorates so I can teach at hopefully an Ivy League." I said telling her my plan for my life after college.

"Damn I didn't know you were that smart." She said rubbing the top of my head. Soon enough we made it back to her dorm. Ines was studying with a friend so she wouldn't be home until later. As we sat on her bed together all tangled in each other's arms we continued talking.

"So why do you want to teach English?" She said. "You asked me what my plans are for after we graduate not what I want to do." I said jokingly
"Then what do you want to do?" She said looking me deep in my eyes. Her brown eyes so penetrating and beautiful.

"I want to write. I want to be an author. I want others to feel things because of my words." I said feeling slightly embarrassed I began to twirl my hair around my index finger.

Nika noticed the deep blush that covered my cheeks as she quickly spoke again. "Don't be embarrassed that's amazing." She said gently brushing the strand of hair out of my hand and behind my ear. "It's stupid. Authors don't get paid enough. And most writers never get recognition." I said dismissing the silly idea.

"No it's not stupid. What do you want to write about lijepa?" She said making my stomach swell with butterflies.

"I want to share my story and spread awareness. No one else should have to go through what I went through. Not by themselves at least. I want to show people that you can get out and you can be successful. When me and Austin were together I was so depressed. So self conscious. I never thought I would be where I am today. Last winter after we had a big argument. I knew I needed to get out but I didn't know how. So I attempted to take my life. But obviously it didn't work. And I was still stuck. Now I'm free and I have never been more happy in my life. I want people to know how much they matter." I said letting out a deep sigh as I finished my sentence.

"You're so amazing you know that right?" Nika said as she looked at me her eyes so full of care. I just giggled at her words kissing her on the cheek. "Come one muhl we agreed to watch a movie with the girls tonight." I said standing up and grabbing hold of her hand.

"Nooo can't we just stay in here and get naked." She said winking at me. "Come onnn that's all we've done for the past week." I responded. "Fine fine let's go." She said standing up and gently smacking me on the ass.

We walked out of her room together hand in hand. She went and sat on the couch as I made my way to Azzi who was in the kitchen.

"Hey stinka butt." I said hugging her. "Hey bookie how are you and Miss Croatia." She said as she poured the popcorn into the machine. "So great. Why?" I said back now leaning against the counter. "Just wondering when things are going to be official." She shrugged as a smile spread across her face.

"We're just friends." I said side eyeing Azzi. "That's not what it sounded like last night. Oh nika." She said mimicking me. I landed a harsh smack on her arm. Thankfully shutting her up. But not for long. "I thought you two were gonna break the bed. I was surprised when all the furniture was still intact." She said giggling.

"Azzi fudd I Will kill you. Shut up. Plus you have no room to talk. We all know you and Paige get it on like every day." I said bitterly. "Yea but At least we keep quiet. You two sound like a porn movie." She said still laughing uncontrollably.

My cheeks were bright red at this point. We stood there Azzi bent over laughing as I pouted when Paige and nika came into the kitchen. "Is the popcorn almost done- what is she laughing at." Paige said pointing to Azzi.

"What's the matter baby." Nika whispered as she wrapped her arms around my waist from behind. "Oh I was just talking about you two. You know you could at least try and keep quiet." Azzi said her laughing finally calming down.

"Az we said we wouldn't say anything about it." Paige said looking to Azzi. "I'm sorry I just had to." She said still smiling. I felt nika smirking against my neck.

"Sorry I like to be able to hear my girl." Nika said her voice husky. Azzi looked to me her eyes widening at nikas words. "You two wouldn't understand your to vanilla." Nika said looking to Paige.

"Hey I am not vanilla. You're just a freak." Paige said wrapping an arm around Azzi as she poured the finished popcorn into the bowls. "Exactly that's why I make my girl feel so good." Nika said sticking her tongue out at Paige.

"What uhg are you saying I'm not good at sex. I am to so good at sex." Paige said begging to pout as we all took our seats on the couch. Nika pulling me close to her and draping a blanket over the two of us.

"It's okay baby. You're good at sex." Azzi said planting a soft kiss on her forehead. "Okay ew. I don't want to know about my best friends sex lives." I said plugging my ears.

"And I don't want to hear my best friend having sex with my team mate who is also my friend." Azzi retorted back.

"Okay fine we will try and keep it down. Now what movie are we watching."
