The next morning you were rifling through you fridge in search of something to eat for breakfast. You didn't want to bother Natalie with preparing a full breakfast, so you decided to toast some of the frozen waffles.
After popping them in the toaster you began looking through the fridge once again just as Adrien came in. He took a quick moment to appreciate the way you looked in your tank top and pajama shorts.
"Morning," he cooed, as though daydreaming. You turned to look at him with a raised brow.
"Morning, Adrien..." you smirked. "What's got you so cheery?" You continued searching. He sat down at the kitchen island and you pulled out two more frozen waffles for him.
He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. "Just had a good night's sleep is all."
You rolled your eyes. "Seems more like you're thinking about a girl." You put your hands on your hips. "Hey? Do you know where all the strawberries went?" You turned around to look at him, but he quickly shook his head. "Thats so weird," you said, closing the doors to the fridge. "I thought we had a brand new carton." You shook your head, "but anyway- who's got you blushing like that? Is it a girl in our class?"
"No, it's nothing like that," he lied. "Why don't you tell me about you not-so-secret date last night?"
You blushed and turned away from him. "I really try to be quiet, Adrien."
"I don't mind at all," he said, getting up next to you at the fridge to grab the milk. Without him needing to ask you handed it to him. He then went to the pantry to grab a box of cereal. "I can have Nathalie go out for some more."
You waved your hand in front of you. "It's no big deal, I'll just eat them with syrup and blueberries.
Adrien sat down with his bowl of cereal Trésor and began eating. Normally a large, nutritious breakfast would be cooked for the two of you. But Adrien told his dad he actually enjoyed eating cereal or frozen pancakes with you. It made him feel like a normal teenager. "I... uh... finished the blueberries last night, too," Adrien told you through a mouthful of cereal.
You rolled your eyes playfully. "I give up," you joked. You grabbed a bottle of syrup just as your waffles pooped up. You grabbed them and quickly threw them on your plate before they burned your fingers.
You took a seat next to Adrien and he looked at you expectantly. "Tell me about your night, (Y/N)."

Later on in the week you were listening to Ms. Mendeleiev teaching when you looked over and saw Chloe was looking pretty rough. Ever since the cooking competition she seemed more quiet than usual.
The only time she was back to her usual self was when Marinette was paired with Adrien for the video game competition, which she said was unacceptable.
"Whoa, look at Chloé," you heard Marinette say behind you. She was talking to Alya, but you answered anyways.
"I feel pretty bad for her." Chloé looked exhausted. Her hair was disheveled and she had dark bags under her eyes as though she hadn't been sleeping well.
Don't, (Y/N), that girl's a total rag," Alya muttered, rolling her eyes.
"Maybe she's missing her BFF?" Marinette suggested just as Adrien gave you a gentle pat on the thigh, signaling you to pay attention before you got into trouble. You turned back in your seat to face the board just as Ms. Mendeleiev turned from writing on the chalk board and shushed the two girls behind you.
"Ow!" Chloé yelled out suddenly, jumping out from her chair.
"What is it, Chloé?" Ms. Mendeleiev crossed her arms in front of her chest.
