Chat Noir took your hand and slowly led you towards the window, turning the light in your room off before he left so that everyone would think you were asleep. You watched him intently as he climbed on top of your railing and when he reached his hand out it took you a moment to register what was happening. Were you really about to let Chat Noir whisk you away into the night without anyone knowing where you were?

Yes.

You took it slowly, unable to help the smile that spread across your face as you stared into his bright green eyes. "Where are you taking me?" you asked as he pulled you forward. His eyes had a mischievous glint, like always, except now it was gentler. It was more excited, more passionate.

"It's a surprise." He picked you up slightly and placed your arms around his neck. "Hold on tight." He smirked proudly as he thought of where he was taking you and the look on your face when you saw it.

With a nod, you squeezed him as tightly as you could and pressed your nose into his neck. You felt the leather-like material of his suit under your hands, wanting to clutch onto it, but it was skin-tight. The sad thought of possibly never feeling the skin under his suit was drowned out by the feeling of his protruding back muscle underneath your fingertips.

He held his left arm firmly around your waist and with his right he took out it staff, letting it extend towards the ground. You couldn't help but let out a small yelp as he suddenly jumped off the railing, you dug your nails into his back and he chuckled.

Normally, when you jumped off a building you could open your arms to let your wings guide you downward. But now, if Chat Noir didn't hold you perfectly, you could slip out of his grasp and meet your untimely end. It was a scary feeling, but invigorating nonetheless. Adrenaline coursed through your veins at the dangerousness of what you were doing. Everything was so wrong, but it felt so right.

You had never snuck out before. You had been strictly told not to date anyone. Being this close to Chat Noir as both (Y/N) and Batwing put your identity at risk. Being this high up was a risk all in its own, too. Though if this is what it felt like to do the wrong thing- could it really be that bad?

When he paused on top of another building, near the Louvre, you repositioned yourself and wrapped your legs around him. You felt him tense up, but there was no way you would let go of him.

"I've got you," he whispered, holding you tighter. The wind blew your hair around wildly and you were pressed so far into his neck that you had no idea where you were. You didn't look up until you you heard the clunking of metal followed by the feeling of being on solid ground.

You put your feet down and took a step back, leaving your arms around his neck. You pressed a small kiss to his cheek before letting go of him and looking around. "Wow," you gushed as you took in the wonderful sight before you.

It was nothing but sky at the very peak of the Eiffel Tower. There were no building higher than you were, so the deep sky was blanketed generously above you with nothing blocking your view. Tiny stars dotted the inky sky all around you, and a far way off you could see Mars twinkling brightly. The moon was a waning crescent but you hadn't noticed the moon- you had turned back to look at Chat Noir who was watching you in awe as you admired the stars.

Once again, his brilliant green eyes took your breath away.

He held up a single rose in front of his chest, with his other arm behind his back. It was trimmed of thorns and only had two leaves on its dark green stem. The bud was right before it's bloom, but the orange was still vibrant, almost glowing softly in the night. But then you realized it wasn't the rose glowing at all. It was a brown candle in a glass jar. Not only a single candle, either. About 20 of them lined the railing of the platform and lit up the area.

"Is that hazelnut?" you asked, taking in a deep breath through your nose. Chat Noir smiled gently and nodded, glancing at the candle shyly, then holding the rose out. You took it carefully and held it to your nose. It had a light fruity smell that you couldn't quite place. A sweet and thoughtful gesture though you wondered why he gave you an orange one instead of a red one.

"You've probably already ate dinner," he said, turning around and picking up something he had folded off to the side. Chat Noir opened it up to reveal a quilted blanket with multi-colored patches. He set it on the floor then turned to grab a box and a Tupperware container. "So, I only brought some snacks." He opened the box to reveal assorted chocolates with a variety or swirls, colors, and shapes. In the Tupperware container he had some dark purple grapes, chocolate covered strawberries, and orange slices.

Without knowing what to say, you hesitantly sat down on the blanket and he followed your lead. You set the rose off to the side and he held out the food to you, letting you take a piece of chocolate. You bit into it, and then offered the second half to him.

"I-it's really good. You should... you should try it." Confidently, and with a grin, Chat Noir ate the piece of chocolate from your fingers and smiled as he licked the melted chocolate off his lips.

When he noticed your deep blush and happily wrapped his arm around your shoulders, making you lean on his shoulder. "This may be more awkward for you than it is for me," he whispered gently. "But, that's because I feel I know you so well."

"I know you better than you think, Kitty," you laughed. "I'm just awkward all the time." You looked up to him, your head still on his shoulder. "This is so amazing."

"I would do anything for you, and I want you to remember that." His words were so sincere, so pained. As if he had been trying to tell you all along and you were only just now hearing it.

You leaned forward and pressed your lips against his. You heard it breath hitch, and smiled into the kiss as it got deeper. You moved your lips against his picking your head up as the kiss grew more and more intense. You were finally alone. Completely alone. He traced his hands around your hips, slipping them under the back of your shirt and resting them on the small of your back. Your hands traced from his shoulders to the back of his neck to his hair, where you brushed your fingers through it.

Everything was perfect. You were finally with Chat Noir and he felt the same way about you that you did about him.

"(Y/N)," he breathed out heavily. He broke the kiss and placed his forehead against yours. "You are so amazing."

A deep blush spread across your cheeks, and you smiled. You reached behind you and grabbed the biggest strawberry in the box, then held it up to his lips. He took a bite of it and as he chewed you pressed a soft peck to his lips. "You're super amazing," you joked, making him roll his eyes playfully.

Then, from the the darkness where the candles didn't reach, you heard someone clear their throat impatiently.

A/N: Hello my readers. I am so sorry this chapter took so long to update.
