Adrien still wanted to go over to Marinette's house to make a plan. He wandered if it was selfish of him to waste Marinette's time just to help him with the girl he liked, but she actually seemed excited, too. So he went along with it.

"I feel it's the least we could do," Marinette said quietly as she and Adrien began to walk to her house.

Adrien nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Maybe this'll make her happy. She has to deal with Chloe all the time." They reached her house and Marinette led him up to her room through the front door so that her parents in the bakery wouldn't embarrass her in front of Adrien.

"So," Marinette asked as she opened the trapdoor to her room. "You know Chat Noir?"

Adrien paused for a second before nodding his head. "Yeah," he chuckled, following close behind her. "I mean, we aren't super close friends, but I could easily give him a letter from (Y/N)."

Marinette giggled, taking a seat, and Adrien leaned against her desk, looking down at her. Neither of them were sure what to do without you. They hardly needed a plan to get your letters to Chat Noir, and Adrien already knew he liked you. So it was a matter of convincing the outside world that Chat Noir knew who you were.

"Maybe we can make a timeline, you know? Of different ways she can talk to Chat Noir," Marinette suggested. Adrien seemed to like the idea. He would just have to be a bit more patient as he waited for you.

However, back at the hotel room you were living in, Chloe was screaming right outside your door about how ungrateful you were. You tuned her out and stuffed all of your belongings into your duffel bag and suitcase.

"Prissy little brat!" You didn't even bother folding the clothes. When you were certain you had everything you left your room key on the counter and bursted through the door.

You felt like a boss as you walked through the hotel lobby into the fresh afternoon, and it wasn't until about 8 o'clock that you began to worry. You had been so focused on escaping Chloe that you didn't consider where you would go, so that night you slept in the empty school. The nurse's office had a small cot that was comfortable enough, so you thought it would be good for the night.

On your way over you saw a silhouette jumping over the rooftops. It was Chat Noir. You weren't sure if you should transform and meet up with him or continue your way to the school, but before you decided he was in front of you.

"Chat Noir?" you gasped. Your eyes lit up and you stared at him intently. You couldn't help but leap forward and wrap your arms around his neck as tightly as you could.

He stumbled backwards a bit, but hugged you around the waist just as tightly. He smelled delicious, like green apple shampoo and sweet cologne. You let go, but you didn't back up too far.

His bright green eyes scanned over you and he smirked. "What's a lovely lady like you doing out here?" he purred. He ran the back of one of his claws down the side of your face gently. You swooned and found yourself unable to respond. He didn't seem to mind, though. "Hey?" he said suddenly. He pointed to the bag on your shoulder and the large suitcase you were wheeling around.

You broke away from your trance, blinking a few times and licking your lips. "Oh this?" You snorted. "I'm leaving the La Grande Paris. Do you know it?" He nodded slowly, getting closer to you and taking your wrist in his hand as though he were going to lead you somewhere.

"Where are you going?" His eyes turned sad and his shoulders slumped downward a bit.

You blushed a deep red and tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. "Don't worry, Chat Noir. I have a place to go."

"Where?" he pressed. His grip on your wrist tightened and you sighed in defeat.

"My friend Marinette's house," you lied.

Chat Noir squinted his eyes at you and crossed his arms. "Then allow me to escort you." He knew you were lying. Your French was hardly understandable when you were under the stress of lying. "So, do you have any other options if Marinette can't host you?" he asked as he took your duffel bag from you and grabbed your luggage.

"I c-can take that."

Chat Noir chuckled, and his eyes glittered for a moment. "I know you can, but you shouldn't have to." He started walking towards Marinette's house and you followed from beside him. "That's the Dupain-Chang Bakery, right?" You nodded. His shoulder brushed against yours as he walked. "I remember her from when Batwing and I fought the Evilustrator. "

You looked up at him with wide eyes and your mouth hung open. "Just you and Batwing?" You crossed the street by the park so the both of you were only a few steps away from the bakery.

"Yeah. Ladybug bailed on us."

You furrowed your eyebrows and he returned your duffel bag as you prepared to knock on the door. "Ladybug? I thought you were in love with her." Chat Noir froze in his tracks and deadpanned before pressing his lips into a thin line.

He squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head. "No," he whispered. He turned to face you and grabbed onto your shoulders. His green eyes were serious, and held a lot of pain. "I am not in love with Ladybug."

You wanted to lean forward and kiss him so badly, you even felt your lips pressing forward. But Chat Noir didn't know you well enough like you knew him. Firstly, you couldn't even be sure he liked you, and secondly, you wanted him to truly love you. In a way he couldn't after briefly meeting you twice.

He set your luggage by the door and held his hand out. "Would you like to go on a stroll with me the next time we're both free?" His lips tugged into the flirty smirk you had seen so many times as Batwing, but this time it was sincere. He really wanted to melt your heart.

It was an odd thing to ask. It were as though he had read your mind. You slowly set your and down in his and his long fingers wrapped around yours. "I would love to." He knelt to the ground and kissed the back of your hand before standing back up. You held your breath as stared at you for a hard moment as if seeing what you wanted to do. "Thank you, Kitten." You leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. "Sweet dreams," you whispered in his ear. With your hand pressed against his chest you could feel his heart beat rapidly.
