"hey" i smiled coming out of my room to my two brothers. "and he laughs at all my jokes" i hummed. "oh bud you've got to be kidding me"  nick said

"what?!?" i asked confused. "are you really singing her new love song seriously" chris asked. "it's a great song" i shrugged. "that's not about you"  nick mumbled.

"she moved on guys, i moved on. remember i'm with katie now" i smiled realizing that i'm seeing her tonight.

me and katie met at this little tiny cafe. i accidentally spilt a while cul of tea on her. still  feel terrible about it.  but i offered to get her new clothes and everything but then we ended up at dinner and now we're together. she's amazing. she's kind, she's generous and drop dead gorgeous.

but what i won't move on from about lex is that she made a sing eight the last words that i ever said to her. first off yes it's an amazing song (of course it is) but i felt i don't know betrayed. i said those words and then walked out on her. like i was in some movie scene.

but the music video is fire. i did feel bad that at the back of the screen there was a banner that said "ass whole of the year" she wasn't an ass, even though she cheated i would never ever think of her like that. and i hope she never thinks of herself that way.  well she did but that's besides the point.

"that reminds me, would it be ok if i went to her birthday party"nick asked me breaking my thoughts. "y'a i don't care, she's your childhood best friend nick" i said, "well then i'm going too" chris said putting his plate in the sink.

"guys it's fine i don't care" i said truthfully. "i'll probably hang out with katie that night anyways" i said eating a rice cake. "i wonder who so american is about though" nick said.

"why the freak would i know" i scoffed. "hey guys!" katie said walking into the house. "hey" i smiled kissing her. "and so american is about her maybe boyfriend eli hewson" katie said.

"how do y-" "because i'm obsessed with your ex girlfriend matthew, do you see how pretty she is why would you ever dump her man" she said giggling.

she's actually so funny. "kidding i know" she said. "isn't eli hewson part of like a band or some shit" chris said clueless. "y'a, inhaler i was in love with him but also lexi is so hot"

also, katie is bi just putting that out there.

"they make up such a great couple" she sighed.

"so nick, chris what are you guys doing today" she smiled at them. "we are actually going to meet your girl crush for lunch" nick said referring to lexi.

"tell her i'm her biggest fan please" she said pouting. "we will" chris laughed getting in his shoes. "do you perchance wanna go out july 12th" i asked her

"that's lexi's birthday, aren't your brothers going to the party that she always has?" she asked me. "y'a but i am not invited so i was wo-" "yes i'd love to go out with you on july 12th" she smiled into my lips.

nicks pov

"LEXER" i screamed once we got out of the uber. she had her prada sunnies on and she turned around with the biggest smile on her face.

she ran over to us jumping into my arms. "i missed you guys" she smiled moving on to hugging chris. "we missed you" chris smiled.

we got a table at the cafe. and sat down the three of us. "how the freak are you guys?" she asked. "well we're good" "blud don't speak for me, i am amazing" chris said interrupting me.
