it's been 5 days since my birthday and that means 5 days since the whole matt incident. i've talked to nick to see how matt was and he said that he hasn't left his room in all of the 5 days since they got home that night.
so i decided to take one for the team and at least try. i told johnny that i was going and he said that if that's what right then i should do it.
so i pulled up to the triplets house and rang the doorbell. nick answered the door and led me to matt's room. i knocked on his door and he said "go the fuck away chris i don't want a pepsi"
"it's lexi" i said. and then he unlocked the door and i walked in. all the blinds were closed and the lights were off. "hey" i said turning on the lights so i could actually see him.
"hi" he said. "i think we need to talk" "y'a i do too" he said. "i'm so sorry about your birthday, like extremely sorry. when i saw you with that johnny guy i just flipped out. and you have to understand that i didn't even intend to do what i did i was drunk" he said
"but matt i'm not yours, you have no control over who i see" i said. "but it still makes me mad when i see you with other people." he said
"matt, you have a girlfriend" i said. "and?" he said. "you had the chance with me and to break up with her but you didn't take it so you need to move on from me" i said
"but i can't." you've got to be kidding me. "so your telling me that's it's ok that i get to see you with other girls but i can't be with other guys" i asked
"as bad as this sounds, kinda" matt said. "you've got to be kidding me" i said. "im sorry" he whispered. "your not though" i said on the verge of crying but not wanting to.
"what are we gonna do?" i asked. "i don't know" he said shaking his head. "maybe we need a break from each other" i asked. "how is that gonna work you see nick everyday he's your best friend lexi" he said. "i don't matt what else is there to do!" i said slightly raising my voice
"maybe we do need a break from each other" he sniffled. i got up from his bed and i was about to go but then he said. "i got this for you, for your birthday" he said
"thank you" i said walking out cause i couldn't take it anymore.
i quickly got into my car and drove off. i pulled to the side of the rode and just cried. for the first time ever i let myself cried.

i answered it because what else was i gonna do. "hey lex, you home?" he asked. "i'm just coming back from the triplets, why what's up?" i asked. "you ok?" he asked. "i'll tell you later" i said

"lex what happened?" he asked. "i went to go talk to matt he just wasn't himself, so i told him that maybe we needed a break from each other and y'a" i said.
"it's all gonna work out lex i promise you. do you wanna come over?" he asked. i nodded my head yes because he could see me. "text me when your here ok?" "ok" i smiled at him hanging up.
call your mom by noah kahan played and that just made it worst! what a good song though.
i texted johnny that i was here and he answered the door right away. i jumped into his arms embracing his hug.
"my sisters are here" he whispered in my ear. "which ones?" i asked him. he thought that was funny cause he started to giggle like a cute little boy.
"darian and lauren" he smiled. "i'm excited to meet them" i smiled. "and your brother is here" he laughed. my mouth flung open. "thanks for the warning" i said. "always" he said kissing the top of my head. and that was a first.
finally we walked out of the entry way of his la apartment. "carter i think you know your sister" johnny laughed. "what are you doing here?" he asked
"johnny invited me over what are you doing here?" i asked him. "same as you,i thought you were at the triplets house?" he asked.
"lauren, darian this is lexi" johnny said changing the subject for me. "nice to meet you guys" i smiled. "oh my god it's so nice to meet you! john has talked so much about you it's like i already know you" "lauren!" johnny said. "it's nice to meet you too" i smiled
"your cheeks are red alexis" carter stated. "shut up" i rolled my eyes. "and i love your album" darian said. "oh my good thank you so much" i smiled.
"i seriously don't know how you put up with my brother though" darian said. "he's not that bad" i smiled looking back at him while his in the kitchen getting me a glass of water.
"he's even writing so-" "darian shut the fuck up"johnny said. "here's your water lex" he said sitting down next to me handing the glass.
"so you guys have another sister maddie right?" i asked. "we sure do" lauren smiled.
johnnys arm was now on my shoulders and i'm slowly sinking into his side.
"can i go take a hoodie i'm cold" i asked johnny. "of course come with me" he smiled. "wanna talk about what happened earlier?" he asked me
"i think that matt's jealous of you" i blurted out. "if i were hi i would be jealous too" he laughed. "but seriously i would wait for you if that's what it took" he said
"and what was that i heard that you wrote some songs about me?" i asked him. "you'll see soon" he winked. "if it means you'll tell me i'll tell you that i wrote something about you too" i smiled
"oh now i'm listening" he said. "come on we have to go back" i smiled. "i wanna know more about the song" he said going super close to my face.
"not unless you kiss me first" i said.what the hell? where did all this confidence come from lexi?
"wouldn't mine that to be honest" he said leaning in.
and just like that his lips were on mine. "you taste like strawberries" he said. "is that a good or bad thing?" "good because i know those are your favourites" he smiled
we went back into the living room holding hands but hen my brother said "oh you guys for sure just hooked up." both of our faves went bright red.
"oh my god they did!" lauren screamed.
